Once you see your allotment, you must decide whether to accept it. If you accept, you are required to pay the admission fee online through the KEA portal. The exact fee payment deadline has not yet been announced by KEA, so watch the official portal for this notification.
After paying the fee, download your admission order from your candidate login on the KEA portal. You will then need to report to your allotted college within the timeline that KEA will announce. Failure to report on time will result in cancellation of your seat, and you will lose the opportunity to study at that college.

- Download admission order from your candidate login
- Report to allotted college within KEA-announced deadline

Why Round 3 Is Your Last Major Chance in Karnataka
Round 3 is one of the final opportunities to secure an MBBS or BDS seat through the Karnataka state quota counselling process. After Round 3, the only remaining option is the stray vacancy round, which typically has very few seats and is highly competitive.
If you do not secure a seat in Round 3, or if you miss the reporting deadline and your seat is cancelled, your chances of getting a medical or dental seat in Karnataka through the regular counselling process will be severely limited. This makes Round 3 a critical juncture in your admission journey.
- Round 3 is one of the final regular counselling rounds
- Stray vacancy round follows, with very limited seats
- Missing Round 3 or the reporting deadline significantly reduces your options
- Plan carefully before accepting or rejecting your allotment

Monitor the official KEA portal daily for notifications about these critical deadlines. Missing either deadline will result in loss of your seat. Set reminders on your phone or email to ensure you do not miss any announcements.

What If You Did Not Get an Allotment in Round 3
If your name does not appear in the Round 3 allotment list, it means either you did not enter your choices during the Round 3 window, or your NEET UG rank and category did not match any available seat at the colleges you chose. In this case, you will be eligible for the stray vacancy round.
The stray vacancy round typically has fewer seats and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. KEA will announce the schedule and process for the stray vacancy round shortly. Keep checking the official portal for updates.
