1. Overview
MedAdmit sells two kinds of products, and they are refunded differently because of what they actually are: an instantly-delivered digital result (a predictor unlock), and an ongoing human service delivered over weeks (a counselling package). Read the section for what you bought.
2. College Predictor & Rank Predictor
These are one-time digital unlocks — the moment your payment is confirmed, you get instant access to your result. Because the product is fully delivered at the point of purchase, it is non-refundable once your result has been unlocked and viewed, the same way most instantly-delivered digital products work.
The one exception: if you were charged but genuinely never received access due to a technical fault on our end (the payment succeeded but your account was never unlocked), we’ll fix your access immediately, or refund you in full if we can’t.
3. Counselling package
The counselling package is a service delivered over the course of a counselling cycle, so how much of it we have already delivered is what determines the refund:
Before any work has started
If you paid but no counsellor has been assigned, no document has been reviewed, and no session has been held — request a refund within 7 days of payment and we will refund it in full.
After work has started
Once a counsellor is actively working your case — documents reviewed, a session held, or registration/choice-filling support begun — a refund, if approved, is for the unused portion only. We deduct a fair value for the work already done (time spent, documents processed, sessions held) before refunding the rest. There is no fixed percentage here, because how much of a ₹19,999 package is “used” after one document-review session is genuinely different from after five — we will show you the breakdown when you ask.
After choices are submitted on the official portal
If you are withdrawing from counselling entirely (not just changing your college choice)
Contact us as early as possible. What is refundable depends entirely on how much of the package we have already delivered, per the rule above — the earlier you tell us, the more of your payment is unused and therefore refundable.
4. Failed or duplicate payments
If Razorpay shows a payment as failed but money was deducted from your account, it is typically auto-reversed by your bank within 5–7 working days without any action from us. If you were accidentally charged twice for the same product, tell us and we will refund the duplicate in full — this is the fastest refund path and usually does not need approval beyond confirming the duplicate.
5. How to request a refund
Email us at info@medadmit.in with:
- The phone number or email your MedAdmit account is registered under.
- The payment reference or approximate date/amount of the payment.
- What you would like refunded and why.
You can also ask your assigned counsellor to raise it on your behalf — for counselling packages, they will usually already know the state of your case, which speeds things up.
6. Processing time & mode
Once a refund is approved, we process it within 2 business days on our side. From there, Razorpay and your bank typically take a further 5–7 business days to reflect the amount in your account — this part is outside our control and depends on your bank/card network. Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used — we cannot send a refund by cash, to a different account, or to a different person than who paid.
7. What's never refundable
- A College Predictor or Rank Predictor unlock, once viewed.
- The portion of a counselling package already delivered (sessions held, documents reviewed).
- Choice-filling already submitted on the official MCC/state portal.
- Any amount, if the request is based on information you provided us that later turns out to have been inaccurate (e.g. a NEET rank, category, or domicile you entered incorrectly).
- A “change of mind” after a service has been fully delivered.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase, regardless of later updates.
