Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has started Round 3 counselling registration for NEET-UG 2026 on its portal, amruhp.ac.in. Round 3 covers the 85% state-quota MBBS and BDS seats left after the earlier rounds, and — importantly — NEET-UG 2026 qualified candidates who did not register in Rounds 1 or 2 can still join now. Registration is open from 22 to 27 September 2026.
New candidates can still enter: register by 27 September, provisional merit list on 29 September, seat allocation on 8 October.
How HP Round 3 works
AMRU conducts Himachal's medical/dental admissions in three counselling rounds, followed by a mop-up round for the 85% state-quota seats and 100% of private-college seats. Round 3 re-opens registration to the full eligible pool, re-draws a merit list, and allots the remaining seats strictly by NEET-UG rank and locked preferences.
