GGSIPU MBBS Code 103 Round 1 Result 2026-27: Fee Payment, Freeze/Float and Reporting Schedule

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has declared the Round 1 result for MBBS (Code 103) admissions to the 2026-27 academic session on 25 August 2026. This is not a fresh application window — it is the post-result schedule that tells every allotted candidate exactly what to do next, and by when, to keep the seat. The notice also repeats, in full, the University's rules on reserved-category certificates, region eligibility, and document verification — the areas where students most often lose seats by mistake. If you registered for GGSIPU's Centralised Online Counselling for MBBS and have an allotment from Round 1, this schedule applies to you directly.

What just happened

GGSIPU conducts Centralised Online Counselling for MBBS admissions under Code 103 as part of Delhi's state-quota NEET-UG process. The University has now declared the result of Round 1 of this counselling for the 2026-27 session, effective 25 August 2026.

This notice (No. 212/2026) lays out everything that happens after the result: fee payment, the Freeze/Float choice, document verification, printing of the allotment letter, and reporting to college. It also restates — almost word for word from the Admission Brochure — the certificate and eligibility rules that most commonly cause seat cancellations. Every candidate who has an allotment, or is waiting on one, needs to read this carefully.

The schedule you cannot miss

All dates below apply to candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 of MBBS Code 103 counselling. The University has stated it will not be responsible for any loss of seat due to non-payment of fees or incorrect region/category details — so treat every deadline as final.

Fee payment, Freeze or Float — what these choices mean

Paying the Rs 96,000 part academic fee is what confirms your allotment. If you do not pay by the deadline, you lose the seat and cannot be considered for any later round, even if you wanted to try again.

You must also choose FREEZE or FLOAT in your login. FREEZE means you are satisfied with this seat and will not participate in the next round (no upgrade). FLOAT means you want to try for a better seat in the next round, but you keep your current seat if you don't get upgraded. If you fail to submit any choice, the system will treat it as FLOAT by default.

One important trap: if your Round-1 seat gets upgraded in Round 2, you must accept the new seat — you cannot go back to claim your Round-1 seat. Also note that a part academic fee paid for one programme cannot be adjusted or transferred to a different programme.

Reserved category and region rules — read this before you assume anything

GGSIPU's allotment is made purely on the category and region a candidate claims at registration — actual document checking happens later. If your documents don't match what you claimed, your seat gets cancelled, even after allotment. The notice sets out detailed conditions:

Region eligibility for SC/ST reservation depends on where you passed your qualifying exam (11th and 12th) and where your reservation certificate was issued — Delhi-passed with Delhi certificate gets Delhi Reserved category; Outside-Delhi-passed with certificate from anywhere gets Outside-Delhi Reserved category; but Delhi-passed with an Outside-Delhi certificate only gets Delhi General category (unless the institution admits on an all-India basis). Candidates must have done both class 11 and 12 from Delhi institutes to claim the Delhi "Region".

SC candidates must belong to a caste on the Delhi Presidential Order list — an SC certificate valid in another state does not automatically qualify you for Delhi's SC reservation.

• OBC (Delhi) — 27% of seats: certificate must show residence in Delhi prior to 1993, be digitally signed, and be issued by the competent Delhi authority. A certificate issued for "appointment to a post under the Government of India" or issued by any other state government will NOT be accepted, under any circumstances.
• OBC-NCL requirement: if your OBC caste certificate is dated on or before 31.03.2026, you must also upload a separate OBC-NCL (non-creamy layer) certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026, matching the OBC certificate.
• Defence category: mandatory upload of Appendix 1 — 'Undertaking for Defence Category' (Part F), duly signed by the Competent Authority.
• PWD (Persons with Disabilities): certificate must be from a Government Hospital, in Delhi or outside Delhi, issued under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
• EWS (Economically Weaker Section): applies only in University Schools of Studies and Government colleges affiliated with GGSIPU, and only to Unreserved-category candidates. SC/ST/OBC candidates cannot claim EWS. The EWS certificate must be issued after 31 March 2026.
• ACMS/Army quota: for children of serving Army personnel, ex-Army personnel, and war widows/widows of the Army only. Children of Air Force, Navy, Paramilitary forces (CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Rifles, GREF) or DSC are NOT eligible. Candidates must select the 'Indian Army' option and upload Appendix 9(A)/9(B)/9(C) as applicable.

What happens if your documents are wrong

If document verification finds a problem — wrong region, missing sub-category proof, invalid certificate — the University raises an online query in your login. You must respond within the given time; there is no separate email or phone reminder. Candidates are advised to check their login regularly.

If you fail to respond in time, or your correction is not accepted, your Category/Sub-Category/Region will be changed by the University based on what the documents actually support, and that becomes final for seat allotment. Reserved-category candidates whose papers are not in order will forfeit their reserved-category claim and be converted to General category.

Even after all this, your documents are checked once more at your allotted college when you physically report. If anything is found false or fake at that stage, the allotment is cancelled immediately — and all fees paid are forfeited.

Reporting to your allotted college

Reporting in person to the allotted institute between 1 and 3 September 2026 (up to 4:00 pm) is compulsory — not just to confirm your seat, but also to remain eligible for any further round of counselling.

Carry your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, and be ready for re-verification of your qualifying exam eligibility, reserved category certificate (if applicable), and NEET-UG 2026 scorecard at the college, along with payment of any balance part academic fee.

Admission remains provisional until regularised by the University. Provisional admission will NOT be given to candidates whose result is awaited or who have compartment/supplementary cases pending.

Withdrawal and refund rules

Candidates who have paid the fee can withdraw their admission by clicking the withdrawal option in their account, up to 05.09.2026, 11:59 pm. Refunds (after deduction as per applicable rules) go only to the bank account details you originally filled during registration — no request to change these bank details will be accepted later, and no refund request will be entertained by post, email, or fax after the stipulated deadline.
