Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi has declared the Round 3 result for MBBS (Code 103) NEET UG 2026 counselling on 06.10.2026. All allotted candidates must now follow a strict sequence of steps: pay the part academic fee, verify their documents online, and report physically to their allotted college to confirm their seat. This is a critical window — missing any deadline or failing to report will result in automatic cancellation of your allotment and loss of your seat. This notice sets out every date, fee amount, document requirement, and procedure you must follow to secure your admission.

You have until 09.10.2026 (11:00 pm) to pay ₹95,000 part academic fee, then until 13.10.2026 (02:00 pm) to verify documents online, and must report to your allotted college between 13–14.10.2026 to confirm your seat — missing any step cancels your allotment.

What This Notice Means for You

Round 3 of GGSIPU's NEET UG 2026 MBBS counselling has concluded, and allotment results were declared on 06.10.2026. If you were allotted a seat, you are now in a critical phase: you must complete four mandatory activities in a precise order and within strict deadlines. The university will not extend these dates, and any delay or non-compliance will result in automatic cancellation of your allotment.

This notice is your roadmap. It tells you exactly when to pay fees, what documents to upload and verify, when to report to your college, and what happens if you miss a deadline. Read it carefully — every detail matters, and many candidates lose their seats because they miss a single requirement or misunderstand a rule.

Important Dates: Your Timeline

The university has set a compressed timeline for all post-allotment activities. All dates are mandatory, and the university will not grant extensions due to network problems, personal circumstances, or any other reason. Mark these dates in your calendar and set reminders.

Round 3 Post-Allotment Schedule (GGSIPU MBBS 2026-27)

Step 1: Pay the Part Academic Fee by 09.10.2026 (11:00 pm)

The first and most critical step is to pay the part academic fee of ₹95,000 (for MBBS only). This fee must be paid online through NET Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card. Payment must be completed by 09.10.2026 at 11:00 pm — not a minute later. The university will not accept late payments, and if you do not pay by this deadline, your allotment will be cancelled automatically.

The university has explicitly warned that it will not be responsible for network problems or any other technical issue. If you face a problem, you must resolve it immediately and pay before the deadline. Do not wait until the last moment — pay as soon as possible to avoid congestion on the payment portal.

Once you pay the fee, you will receive a payment receipt. Keep this receipt safe — you will need it as proof when you report to your college. The fee is non-refundable if you later decide not to join or if your allotment is cancelled due to incorrect documents or false information.

  • Fee amount: ₹95,000 (part academic fee for MBBS)
  • Payment method: NET Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card only
  • Deadline: 09.10.2026 at 11:00 pm (strict, no extension)
  • Failure to pay = automatic cancellation of allotment
  • Pay early to avoid portal congestion

Step 2: Online Document Verification by 13.10.2026 (02:00 pm)

After you pay the part academic fee, the university will begin online verification of your documents. You must log into your candidate portal and upload all required documents for verification. The documents you uploaded at the time of registration will be checked against your claimed category, region, qualifying exam marks, and eligibility.

The university will verify your information against the data in the UG Admissions Brochure 2026-27. If there are any discrepancies — for example, if your region is wrong, your category certificate is invalid, or your marks do not match the NEET scorecard — the university will raise a query in your portal. You must respond to these queries within the stipulated time (usually within 24 hours of the query being raised). Failure to respond will result in cancellation of your allotment.

If your documents are found to be incorrect or false at any stage — during online verification, at physical reporting, or even after you join — your seat will be cancelled immediately, and all fees will be forfeited. The university takes document verification very seriously, so ensure every detail is accurate before you submit.

Important: If you submit corrected documents before the next round of counselling, you will be given the benefit of your corrected category/region and will be eligible to participate in the next round. However, if you do not correct your documents, you will be considered ineligible for future rounds.

  • Log into your candidate portal and check for verification queries
  • Respond to all queries raised by the university within the stipulated time
  • Deadline for document verification: 13.10.2026 at 02:00 pm
  • Failure to respond to queries = cancellation of allotment
  • False or incorrect documents = immediate cancellation and fee forfeiture
  • You can correct documents before the next round to regain eligibility

Step 3: Print Your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter by 14.10.2026 (02:00 pm)

After your documents are verified, you will be able to print your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from your candidate portal. This letter will show your allotted college/institute, your seat number, your category, and other details. You must print this letter — it is your proof of allotment and you will need to carry it when you report to your college.

The option to print the letter will be available only during the specified period (after document verification and before 14.10.2026 at 02:00 pm). Once this period closes, the letter will not be available for download in subsequent rounds of counselling. Print it immediately after verification is complete.

  • Print your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter from your portal
  • Deadline: 14.10.2026 at 02:00 pm
  • Carry this letter when you report to your college
  • Letter will not be available after the deadline

Step 4: Report Physically to Your Allotted College (13–14.10.2026, up to 04:00 pm)

This is the most critical step. You must report physically to your allotted college/institute between 13.10.2026 and 14.10.2026 up to 04:00 pm. Reporting is mandatory for seat confirmation. If you do not report within this window, you will be eliminated from further rounds of counselling, and your seat will be cancelled.

When you report, you must bring the following documents: your Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, proof of payment of part academic fee, your NEET UG 2026 scorecard, your qualifying exam eligibility certificate, your reserved category certificate (if applicable), and any other document mentioned in your allotment letter. The college will verify these documents and confirm your seat.

Once you report and join the allotted seat, you are locked into that seat and that college. You will not be eligible for any further round of counselling, even if you wish to. If you join a seat in Round 3, you cannot participate in the Stray Vacancy Round or any subsequent round. This is a permanent commitment.

If you fail to report at the allotted institute, you will be automatically eliminated from further rounds. Your seat will be considered vacant and will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list.

  • Reporting is mandatory for seat confirmation
  • Dates: 13.10.2026 to 14.10.2026 up to 04:00 pm
  • Failure to report = automatic elimination and seat cancellation
  • Once you join, you cannot participate in further rounds
  • Bring: Allotment letter, fee receipt, NEET scorecard, eligibility certificate, category certificate

Critical Trap: Reserved Category Certificates and Region Rules

The university has strict rules about reserved category certificates, and many candidates lose their seats because they do not understand these rules. Read this section carefully.

**OBC Certificate (Delhi):** If you are claiming OBC (Other Backward Class) reservation, you must have an OBC Certificate issued by the Competent Authority of the Government of NCT of Delhi, and it must be digitally signed. The certificate must show that your original residence is in Delhi and that you belong to an OBC caste listed in the Presidential order for Delhi. If your OBC certificate was issued on or before 31.03.2026, you must also upload a valid OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026. The OBC-NCL certificate is mandatory and must be in consonance with your OBC certificate. OBC certificates issued for 'Applying for appointment to Post under Govt. of India' or issued by any other state government will NOT be accepted under any circumstances.

**Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) Candidates:** If you belong to a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe listed in the Presidential order for Delhi, you are eligible for SC/ST reservation. However, if you also claim OBC, you will not be considered for OBC reservation — you will be considered only for SC/ST reservation.

**Delhi Region Rule:** If you are claiming a seat in the Delhi 'Region', you must have passed the 11th and 12th standard from any institute or college located in Delhi. If you filled your form with the wrong region, or if you did not pass 11th and 12th from Delhi, your allotment will be cancelled. The university will verify this at the time of physical reporting, and if the information is found to be incorrect, your seat will be cancelled immediately.

**Defence Category:** If you are claiming Defence category (for children of serving/ex-Army personnel, war widows, etc.), you must upload the Defence Category Certificate (Appendix 1) duly completed and signed by the Competent Authority. Children of CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Rifles, GREF, and DSC are NOT eligible for Defence category seats.

  • OBC certificate must be from Delhi Competent Authority and digitally signed
  • OBC certificate issued before 31.03.2026 must be accompanied by OBC-NCL certificate issued on/after 01.04.2026
  • OBC certificates from other states or for 'Govt. of India appointment' will NOT be accepted
  • SC/ST candidates claiming OBC will be considered only for SC/ST, not OBC
  • Delhi Region candidates must have passed 11th and 12th from Delhi institutes
  • Wrong region claim = automatic cancellation at reporting stage
  • Defence category requires signed Defence Category Certificate from Competent Authority

Other Important Category and Eligibility Rules

**Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD):** If you are claiming PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) category, you must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the appropriate authority. The university has issued guidelines dated 09.09.2026 for this — refer to those guidelines.

**EWS (Economically Weaker Section):** EWS reservation is applicable only in University School of Studies and Government colleges affiliated with GGSIPU. It is not available in private colleges. EWS reservation is available only for unreserved category candidates. If you are claiming SC/ST/OBC, you cannot also claim EWS. Your EWS certificate must be issued on or after 31.03.2026.

**Army Category:** If you are claiming Army category (for children of eligible serving Army personnel, ex-Army personnel, and war widows/widowers of Army, Air Force, Navy, and Paramilitary forces), you must select 'INDIAN ARMY' option and upload Appendix 'M' (ARMY) duly completed. Children of CRPF, BSF, ITBP, CISF, Assam Rifles, GREF, and DSC are NOT eligible.

**Scheduled Caste Candidates Not in Delhi List:** If you belong to a Scheduled Caste that is not included in the list of Scheduled Castes for Delhi (in the Presidential order), you will NOT be entitled to SC reservation in GGSIPU. You will be considered only for General category. The same rule applies to Scheduled Tribes.

  • PwBD candidates must have Eligibility Certificate (guidelines dated 09.09.2026)
  • EWS available only in University Schools and Govt. colleges, not private colleges
  • EWS available only for unreserved candidates, not SC/ST/OBC
  • EWS certificate must be issued on/after 31.03.2026
  • Army category requires signed Appendix M; CRPF/BSF/ITBP/CISF/Assam Rifles/GREF/DSC not eligible
  • SC/ST candidates must be in Delhi Presidential order list; otherwise considered General

What Happens After You Report and Join

Once you report to your allotted college and join your seat, the college will conduct a medical fitness examination to verify that you meet NMC (National Medical Commission) norms for medical fitness. This is a standard procedure for all medical students. You must pass this examination to be eligible for admission.

After you join, the college will submit your details to the university and to the NIC (National Informatics Centre) portal. The university will then consider your seat as confirmed, and you will be considered a regular student of that college. You will not be eligible for any further round of counselling, including the Stray Vacancy Round.

If you were allotted a seat in Round 3 but did not pay the part academic fee or did not report to the college, you will not be considered for any subsequent round of counselling. Your participation in Round 3 is final — you cannot change your mind and participate in the Stray Vacancy Round.

All admissions will be provisional until regularized by the university. Provisional admission will NOT be done for any result awaited or compartment/supplementary cases. If you have any pending results or compartment exams, you must clear them before you can be admitted.

  • Medical fitness examination is mandatory at the college level
  • College will submit your details to university and NIC portal
  • Once you join, you cannot participate in further rounds
  • Non-reporting in Round 3 = ineligible for Stray Vacancy Round
  • Admissions are provisional until regularized by the university
  • Provisional admission not done for pending results or compartment cases

Common Mistakes That Get Your Seat Cancelled

The university has listed several reasons why a seat can be cancelled. Understanding these will help you avoid losing your allotment.

**Incorrect or False Information:** If any information you provided in your application — your category, region, qualifying exam marks, caste, disability status, or any other detail — is found to be incorrect or false at any stage (online verification, physical reporting, or after joining), your seat will be cancelled immediately, and all fees will be forfeited. The university takes this very seriously.

**Wrong Region Claim:** If you claimed Delhi Region but did not pass 11th and 12th from Delhi, or if you filled the wrong region in your form, your allotment will be cancelled at the reporting stage. The college will verify this when you report.

**Invalid Category Certificate:** If your category certificate is not valid, not digitally signed (for OBC), not issued by the correct authority, or does not match the list of valid castes/categories for Delhi, your allotment will be cancelled. For example, an OBC certificate from another state will not be accepted.

**Missing OBC-NCL Certificate:** If your OBC certificate was issued before 31.03.2026 and you do not upload a valid OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026, your allotment will be cancelled.

**Failure to Respond to Queries:** If the university raises a query during online verification and you do not respond within the stipulated time, your allotment will be cancelled.

**Failure to Report:** If you do not report to your allotted college by 14.10.2026 at 04:00 pm, you will be eliminated from further rounds, and your seat will be cancelled.

**Failure to Pay Part Academic Fee:** If you do not pay the ₹95,000 part academic fee by 09.10.2026 at 11:00 pm, your allotment will be cancelled, and you will not be eligible for document verification or reporting.

  • False or incorrect information = immediate cancellation and fee forfeiture
  • Wrong region claim = cancellation at reporting stage
  • Invalid category certificate = cancellation
  • OBC certificate without OBC-NCL (if issued before 31.03.2026) = cancellation
  • Failure to respond to verification queries = cancellation
  • Failure to report by deadline = elimination and cancellation
  • Failure to pay part academic fee = cancellation
