CENTAC has released the Revised Draft Merit List for NEET-based professional courses — MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BVSc&AH (National Self-Supporting & NRI) — for admissions under Government, Management, Management (Telugu Minority) and NRI quotas in Puducherry. This list is prepared strictly on the basis of NEET UG 2026 marks and the cut-offs prescribed for these courses.

The 27 August 2026, 10 a.m. deadline — what candidates must check
Every candidate's application verification status is now visible on their individual CENTAC dashboard. Candidates should log in and check whether their documents were accepted or rejected, and why.
Two specific actions have a hard deadline of 27 August 2026, 10:00 a.m.:
- If you have any objection to your rank, category, or verification result, or need to upload a certificate, you must do this through the 'OBJECTIONS' link on your dashboard before the deadline.
- If your claim (for a reservation category, quota, or similar benefit) was rejected specifically because you submitted an outdated Revenue Certificate, you must upload a properly renewed Revenue Certificate before the same deadline.
⚠️ Trap: Do not skip filling your course preferences
CENTAC has published the Seat Matrix for all NEET UG based courses on its website. Candidates now need to update or submit their course preferences (the order in which they want MBBS, BDS or other courses/colleges) for Round 1 Allotment.
This is critical: the notice explicitly states that candidates whose course preference list is left empty will NOT be considered for the Round 1 allotment at all. Simply appearing in the merit list is not enough — you must actively log in and select your preferred courses/colleges before allotment runs.
⚠️ Traps that can cancel your candidature
The notice lists several situations that lead directly to rejection or cancellation of candidature. Read these carefully — they apply even after you appear in the merit list.
- Duplicate applications: If a candidate has submitted more than one application, BOTH applications are rejected and the candidate's entire candidature is cancelled — not just the extra one.
- False information: Any false information submitted in the application will lead to rejection of the application or cancellation of admission, even at a later stage.
- Forged documents: Final admission is subject to physical verification of original documents at the time of joining. If any candidate is found to have submitted forged documents, their candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be initiated against them.

CENTAC has also stated that it is sending SMS alerts to candidates as a backup, but candidates should not wait for an SMS and should check the dashboard directly given the tight deadline.

Is this the final NEET UG merit list for Puducherry 2026?
