Who Is Eligible to Exercise Web Options

You are eligible if your name appears in the Final Merit Position of Management Quota displayed on 2 October 2026 (marked UPDATED) and in the addendums issued on 5 October and 16 October 2026. The university has published these lists on its website at https://drntr.uhsap.in.

If you were allotted a seat in Phase-I counselling (under notifications dated 1 September or 13 September 2026) and have already joined a college, you can still participate in Phase-II. You may choose to slide (move) to a different college or switch from Category C (NRI) to Category B if you are eligible. However, if you did not report to your Phase-I allotted college, you cannot opt for that same seat again in Phase-II or any later round.

Only Muslim minority candidates are eligible to exercise options for Management Quota seats in un-aided private minority dental colleges. If Muslim minority candidates are not available, those seats will be filled with non-minority candidates in the Stray Round. Muslim minority candidates are also eligible for Management Quota seats in all other dental colleges.

  • Your name must be on the Final Merit Position list (2 Oct 2026 UPDATED, or addendums of 5 Oct or 16 Oct)
  • You can participate even if you joined in Phase-I, to slide to another college or category
  • If you did not report in Phase-I, you can participate in Phase-II but cannot opt for your Phase-I seat again
  • Muslim minority candidates: eligible only for minority college Management Quota seats (unless you opt for non-minority colleges)

What Happens After Allotment: Reporting and Joining

After allotment, you will receive a message on your registered mobile and email. Download your allotment order by paying the University fee. The allotment order will specify a reporting date and time by which you must join the college.

You must report to the Principal of your allotted college before the date and time specified in the allotment order. Bring the following with you: (1) downloaded allotment order, (2) all original certificates, and (3) proof of payment of the University fee. If you fail to report by the deadline, your admission will be cancelled automatically.

At the college, you will undergo verification of all your original certificates. If any discrepancy is found or you are deemed ineligible, your provisional allotment will be cancelled without notice and action will be taken as per university regulations. After verification, pay the tuition fee and college fee to complete your admission.

If you were allotted a seat in Phase-I and have already joined a college, but you slide to a different college in Phase-II, the original college will send your certificates to the new college after admissions close. You must report to the new college with your downloaded allotment order and a custodian certificate issued by the previous college. Pay the tuition fee to complete the admission process at the new college.

  • Receive allotment message on registered mobile and email
  • Download allotment order after paying University fee
  • Report to college Principal by the date and time specified in allotment order
  • Bring: allotment order, original certificates, University fee payment proof
  • Undergo certificate verification at the college
  • If ineligible or discrepancy found, allotment cancelled without notice
  • Pay tuition fee and college fee to complete admission
  • If sliding from Phase-I college: bring custodian certificate from previous college

Critical Trap: NRI Quota Eligibility and Document Verification

⚠️ If you are applying for Category C (NRI) seats, you must meet strict eligibility criteria. The university has allotted seats based on scanned documents you uploaded — it has NOT verified your original certificates yet. Original certificates will be verified thoroughly at the time of admission at the college.

If any discrepancy is found, if you are deemed ineligible, or if false documents are discovered, your seat will be cancelled automatically without notice and further action will be taken against you. This is a serious consequence — ensure all your NRI documents are genuine and accurate.

NRI eligibility includes: (1) actual NRI candidates, (2) foreign students or OCI/PIO card holders (with restrictions for those registered on or after 4 March 2021), or (3) children or blood relatives of NRIs (uncles, aunts, grandparents, first-degree cousins) who are themselves NRI and ordinarily residing abroad and have acted as your guardian. You must submit a declaration and all required documents proving your NRI status or relationship.

Refer to the full eligibility criteria in the notice (section 18) before exercising options. If you are unsure whether you qualify, contact the help desk before the option entry window closes.

  • ⚠️ NRI eligibility is strict: actual NRI, foreign student, OCI/PIO holder, or eligible blood relative of NRI
  • ⚠️ University verified only scanned documents — original certificates verified at college admission
  • ⚠️ Any discrepancy or false documents = automatic seat cancellation without notice
  • ⚠️ Blood relatives must be NRI, ordinarily residing abroad, and must have been your guardian
  • ⚠️ PIO/OCI holders registered on or after 4 March 2021 can only take NRI seats, not Indian citizen seats
  • ✅ Submit declaration and all required NRI documents with your application

Important Rules and Restrictions

Once you exercise web options and submit them, they are final. No request for change of options or reordering of college priorities will be entertained after the option entry window closes at 8 PM on 17 October 2026. Be very careful when ranking colleges — think through your preferences before submitting.

If you were allotted a seat in Phase-I and joined a college, but you slide to another college in Phase-II, your Phase-I seat will be cancelled automatically. That seat will then become available for other candidates in subsequent rounds.

If you do not report at your allotted college by the deadline specified in the allotment order, your admission will be cancelled automatically. There is no grace period or extension.

If you wish to withdraw from the course after admissions close (mid-course withdrawal), you must submit a request through the college Principal along with a course discontinuation fee of ₹1,00,000. Requests sent directly to the university will not be entertained.

The university does not support or entertain seat blocking or cancellation. If you are found involved in seat blocking, legal action will be initiated against you.

  • ⚠️ Web options are final — no changes allowed after submission
  • ⚠️ Failure to report by deadline = automatic admission cancellation
  • ⚠️ Sliding from Phase-I to Phase-II = automatic cancellation of Phase-I seat
  • ⚠️ Mid-course withdrawal requires ₹1,00,000 discontinuation fee (paid through college, not university)
  • ⚠️ Seat blocking is prohibited — legal action will be taken
  • ✅ Keep your login credentials, OTP, and email/mobile secure — do not share with anyone

What Happens to Unfilled NRI Seats

If NRI quota seats remain vacant after all NRI applicants have exhausted their choices, those seats will be converted to 'NRI Lapsed' seats. These lapsed seats will be filled only in Phase-III (Mop Up) or subsequent counselling rounds, and only with candidates who specifically applied for NRI Lapsed category seats. This rule is per Government of Andhra Pradesh orders G.O.Ms. 134 and 135 (HM & FW Department, dated 11 September 2026).

This means if you are not eligible for NRI seats but want to apply for NRI Lapsed seats in a later round, you must have applied for that category in your original NEET registration.

  • Unfilled NRI seats → converted to NRI Lapsed seats
  • NRI Lapsed seats filled only in Phase-III (Mop Up) or later
  • Only candidates who applied for NRI Lapsed category eligible for these seats
