This notice announces that the provisional seat allotment result for Round 3 of Uttarakhand NEET UG 2026 counselling has been uploaded to the official counselling portal. The allotment was approved by the NEET-UG 2026 Counselling Board at a meeting held on 12 October 2026.
The allotment is based on two things: your merit (your NEET rank) and the college and course choices you made during the counselling process. The board has matched your rank and preferences to available seats across Uttarakhand medical colleges offering MBBS and BDS courses.
This is a provisional result, meaning it is not final and may change. However, it tells you which college and course you are likely to be admitted to, provided you meet all eligibility requirements and your documents are genuine.
Important Dates: What You Must Do and When
The timeline for Round 3 is very tight. You have only a few hours to act on this result. Missing any deadline will cost you your seat.
The key dates are:
- 13 October 2026, 11:00 AM — LAST DEADLINE to report any errors or discrepancies in your allotment result. Email ukneetcounselling@gmail.com with details of the error.
- 13 October 2026, 1:00 PM onwards — Download your Seat Allotment Letter from the official counselling portal.
- 5 October 2026 — This was the cutoff date for issuance of Domicile, Category, and Sub-Category Certificates. Any certificate issued after this date will NOT be accepted.

How to Download Your Allotment Letter
Your Seat Allotment Letter will be available on the official Uttarakhand counselling portal from 1:00 PM on 13 October 2026. You will need to log in using your NEET-UG roll number and password.
Once you log in, look for the option to download your allotment letter. This letter will show the college name, course (MBBS or BDS), and seat category you have been allotted. Save this letter and print a copy — you will need it for admission.
If you cannot access the portal or download the letter, contact the counselling board immediately. Do not wait until the last moment.
Verify Your Allotment Details Immediately
As soon as you download your allotment letter, check every detail carefully. Errors in your name, roll number, category, or college name can lead to rejection at admission.
Common things to verify:

Official 2023–2025 closing ranks and fees, matched to your rank.
If you find ANY error or discrepancy, you must report it to the Counselling Board by email at ukneetcounselling@gmail.com BEFORE 11:00 AM on 13 October 2026. Include your name, NEET-UG roll number, application/registration number, and a clear description of the error. After 11:00 AM, no corrections will be accepted.
- Your name, date of birth, and NEET-UG roll number match your NEET admit card
- The college name and location are correct
- The course (MBBS or BDS) is what you chose
- Your category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.) is correct
- Your seat type (Open, Category-based, or other) is as expected
The Critical Rule: Certificate Cutoff Date (5 October 2026)
This is a trap that has caught many candidates. The board has set 5 October 2026 as the final cutoff date for issuance of Domicile, Category, and Sub-Category Certificates.
What this means: If your Domicile Certificate, Caste Certificate, or Sub-Caste Certificate (if applicable) was issued AFTER 5 October 2026, it will NOT be accepted during the admission process. Your seat will be cancelled, and you will lose your admission.
You must check the issue date printed on each of your certificates RIGHT NOW. If any certificate is dated after 5 October 2026, you have a serious problem. Contact the issuing authority immediately to see if you can obtain a corrected certificate with an earlier date, or contact the counselling board to understand your options.
This rule applies to ALL candidates, regardless of category or state of domicile.
Document Authenticity: Forged or Fake Documents Will Cancel Your Admission
The board has issued a stern warning: if ANY document you submitted during counselling is found to be forged, fabricated, tampered, or fraudulent at any stage of verification, your admission will be cancelled immediately, and you will forfeit all rights to the seat.
This includes:
If your documents are found to be fraudulent, the board may also initiate legal proceedings against you under applicable law. This is not just about losing your seat — it can result in criminal charges.
The board will verify your documents during the admission process at your allotted college. Be absolutely certain that every document you have submitted is genuine and authentic.
- Domicile Certificate
- Category/Caste Certificate
- Sub-Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Educational certificates (10th, 12th, NEET admit card)
- Any other document submitted in support of your application
The Mandatory Notarised Affidavit: You Must Bring This to College
This is a new and important requirement. You MUST produce a notarised affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 100 at the time of admission in your allotted college. Without this affidavit, your admission will not be completed.
The affidavit is a legal declaration in which you swear that:
The affidavit template is provided in the notice. You must fill it out, sign it, and have it notarised by a Notary Public in Dehradun, Uttarakhand (or your local jurisdiction). The notary will verify your identity, witness your signature, and affix their seal and registration number.
Do not delay in getting this affidavit prepared. Many candidates wait until the last moment and then cannot find a notary. Get it done immediately after you receive your allotment letter.
- All documents, certificates, and information you submitted are true, correct, genuine, and authentic
- You have not submitted any fake, forged, fabricated, or tampered documents
- You have not made any false statements or misrepresentations
- If any document is later found to be fraudulent, your admission will be cancelled without refund or compensation, and legal action may be taken against you
How to Get the Affidavit Notarised
Every kind of MBBS/BDS seat, one rank
See the real seats your NEET rank can reach.
Step 1: Download or obtain the affidavit template from the notice (it is provided on page 2 of the notice document). Fill in all blanks with your details: name, father's name, date of birth, NEET-UG roll number, application/registration number, college name, and course.
Step 2: Print the affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 100. You can buy this stamp paper from any post office or stamp vendor in Dehradun or your local area.
Step 3: Sign the affidavit in the presence of a Notary Public. A Notary Public is a legal official authorised to witness and certify documents. You can find notaries in Dehradun or your local district court.
Step 4: The notary will verify your identity (using your NEET admit card or passport), witness your signature, and affix their official seal and registration number on the affidavit.
Step 5: Keep the notarised affidavit safe. Bring the original to your allotted college at the time of admission. Do not submit it to the counselling board — only to the college.
What 'Provisional' Means: This Result Is Not Final
The board has made clear that this allotment is 'provisional' and 'indicative in nature.' This means it is subject to change and is not a guarantee of admission.
The provisional allotment does NOT confer any legal right or claim to the seat. If you do not meet eligibility requirements, or if your documents are found to be fraudulent, or if you fail to produce the required affidavit, your allotment can be cancelled.
You cannot challenge this provisional result in court. The board's decision is final and binding. However, you can report errors or discrepancies by the deadline (11 AM on 13 October 2026).
What Happens Next: The Admission Process
After you download your allotment letter, the next step is to report to your allotted college for admission. The exact date and process will be communicated by the college or the counselling board in a separate notice.
At the time of admission, you must bring:
The college will verify all your documents, check the authenticity of your certificates, and confirm that your affidavit is properly notarised. Only after this verification will your admission be confirmed.
If any document is found to be fraudulent or if the affidavit is missing or improperly notarised, your admission will be cancelled on the spot.

My Domicile or Category Certificate was issued after 5 October 2026. What happens now?
This is a serious problem. The board has set 5 October 2026 as the final cutoff date for issuance of these certificates. Any certificate issued after this date will NOT be accepted during admission, and your seat will be cancelled. Contact the issuing authority immediately to see if you can obtain a corrected certificate with an earlier date, or contact the counselling board to understand your options.
What is the notarised affidavit, and why do I need it?
The notarised affidavit is a legal declaration on Rs 100 stamp paper in which you swear that all your documents are genuine and authentic. You MUST bring the original notarised affidavit to your allotted college at the time of admission. Without it, your admission will not be completed. Get it notarised by a Notary Public immediately after receiving your allotment letter.
What happens if my documents are found to be forged or fake?
If any document you submitted is found to be forged, fabricated, tampered, or fraudulent at any stage of verification, your admission will be cancelled immediately, you will forfeit all rights to the seat, and the board may initiate legal proceedings against you. This is a serious consequence — ensure all your documents are 100% genuine.
Can I challenge the allotment result in court?
No. The board has made clear that the provisional allotment result cannot be challenged before any court of law. The board's decision is final and binding. However, you can report errors or discrepancies by the deadline (11 AM on 13 October 2026).
Is this allotment final, or can it change?
This is a provisional allotment and is subject to change. It does not confer any legal right or claim to the seat. Your allotment can be cancelled if you do not meet eligibility requirements, if your documents are fraudulent, or if you fail to produce the required affidavit. However, it is a strong indicator of where you are likely to be admitted.
What documents do I need to bring to college for admission?
You must bring: (1) your Seat Allotment Letter downloaded from the portal, (2) the notarised affidavit on Rs 100 stamp paper, (3) original and photocopies of your 10th and 12th certificates, NEET admit card, Domicile Certificate, Category/Caste Certificate, and Sub-Category Certificate (if applicable), and (4) any other documents requested by the college.
Where do I get the affidavit template, and how do I get it notarised?
The affidavit template is provided in the notice (page 2). Fill it out with your details, print it on Rs 100 non-judicial stamp paper (available at post offices), and take it to a Notary Public in Dehradun or your local area. The notary will verify your identity, witness your signature, and affix their seal. This usually takes 1-2 days and costs Rs 200-500.
What if I miss the 11 AM deadline to report errors on 13 October 2026?
If you miss the 11 AM deadline, the board will not accept any corrections or complaints about errors in your allotment. You will have to proceed with the allotment as it is, even if there are errors. This is why it is critical to download your letter and check it immediately after 1 PM on 13 October 2026.
How do I know if my allotment is genuine, or is this a scam?
This is an official notice from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), the state authority for NEET UG counselling in Uttarakhand. Download your allotment letter only from the official counselling portal linked on the HNBUMU website (www.hnbumu.ac.in). Do not click on links from emails, SMS, or social media — these are often scams. Always verify through the official website.
What if I don't get an allotment in Round 3?
If you do not appear in the Round 3 allotment result, it means no seat matching your rank and choices was available in this round. The board may conduct further rounds of counselling. Check the HNBUMU website regularly for announcements about Round 4 or subsequent rounds, and the dates for choice filling and allotment.
