What is this allotment list?

This is the provisional allotment list for NEET PG 2026 Round 1 counselling for NRI candidates in Uttarakhand. It shows the results of the first round of seat allocation based on the Uttarakhand State NEET PG NRI merit list. Each candidate who filled choices has been ranked by their NEET PG score, and seats have been allotted according to their merit rank, the choices they filled, and the availability of seats in the NRI quota at participating colleges.

The list includes candidates from across India who applied for NRI quota seats. The allotment is based on the information candidates provided in their online application form at the time of registration. However, this allotment is not final — it is provisional and subject to verification of original documents (certificates, degrees, category proofs, etc.) when the candidate reports to the allotted college for admission.

Who is eligible to appear in this list?

Only candidates who applied for NRI quota seats in NEET PG 2026 and filled their choices during the Round 1 choice-filling window appear in this list. NRI candidates are those who do not hold Indian citizenship or are Indian citizens living abroad and applying under the NRI quota. To be eligible, a candidate must hold a valid MBBS degree from a recognized medical college and have appeared in NEET PG 2026.

Candidates who did not fill any choices during Round 1 will show 'No Choices filled by the candidate' in the remarks column and will not receive an allotment in this round. Similarly, candidates whose choices did not match available seats (either because all their preferred specialties/colleges were full or because their rank was below the cutoff for their choices) will show 'Seat not available as per Merit/Choices' and will not be allotted in Round 1.

How to check your allotment status

Search the provisional allotment list for your NEET roll number. The list is organized by state rank (a ranking assigned by Uttarakhand for this counselling). Once you find your row, check the following columns: your name, NEET rank, NEET marks, the college/specialty you were allotted, and the 'Remarks' column.

If you see an allotted college and specialty in the 'Alloted College/Seat' column, you have been allotted a seat in Round 1. If the 'Remarks' column shows 'Seat not available as per Merit/Choices' or 'No Choices filled by the candidate', you have not been allotted in this round and may be eligible for subsequent rounds (if any). If you cannot find your roll number in the list at all, contact the university immediately at ukneetcounselling@gmail.com.

Critical: Verify your details before the deadline

This allotment is provisional. Before it becomes final on 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM, you must carefully check every detail in your row of the list. Verify your name, NEET roll number, NEET rank, NEET marks, claimed category, allotted category, allotted college, and allotted specialty. Even a small error — a misspelled name, a wrong rank, an incorrect category — can cause your admission to be cancelled later.

If you spot any discrepancy or error, you must report it to the university immediately. Do not wait. Send an email to ukneetcounselling@gmail.com with your NEET roll number, the error you found, and the correct information. Include a screenshot of the list showing your row. The university must receive your complaint by 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM. After 2:00 PM on that date, the result will be finalized and no further corrections will be accepted.

  • Check your name spelling and spelling of your father's/mother's name
  • Verify your NEET roll number and NEET rank match your admit card
  • Confirm your NEET marks and incentive marks (if any) are correct
  • Check that your claimed category and allotted category are correct
  • Verify the allotted college name and specialty match your preference
  • Ensure your gender and bonded status are recorded correctly

Understanding the allotment columns

The allotment list contains many columns. Here is what each means: 'State Rank' is the rank assigned by Uttarakhand for this counselling. 'NEET Rollno' is your NEET PG 2026 roll number. 'Name' is your name as recorded in your NEET application. 'NEET Rank' is your all-India rank in NEET PG 2026. 'Domicile of UK' shows whether you are domiciled in Uttarakhand (YES) or not (NO). 'MBBS Pass State' is the state where you completed your MBBS degree.

'Claimed Category' is the category (General/OBC/SC/ST/EWS) you claimed in your application. 'Category UK' is the category assigned by Uttarakhand for counselling purposes. 'Subcategory' shows any sub-group (e.g., 'WOMEN' for women candidates). 'NEET Marks' is your raw NEET PG score. 'Incentive Marks' are bonus marks awarded by the state (if any). 'Final Marks' is the sum of NEET marks and incentive marks, used for ranking.

'Opted preferences' lists the specialties and colleges you chose in order of preference. 'Opted College/Seat(s)' shows the full name of each college you chose. 'Alloted Quota' shows which quota (NRI Quota, General, etc.) your seat is under. 'Alloted Category' is the category under which you were allotted. 'Alloted College/Seat' is the college and specialty you have been allotted. 'Alloted Preference Number' shows which of your preferences was allotted (e.g., '1' means your first choice, '2' means your second choice). 'Remarks' contains any special notes about your allotment or non-allotment.

What happens if you were allotted a seat?

If your row shows an allotted college and specialty, you have been provisionally allotted a seat in Round 1. You are now required to report to that college for admission. The university will announce the reporting date and time separately — watch for a notification from HNBUMU or the allotted college. You must bring all original documents (MBBS degree, NEET admit card, category certificate if applicable, NOC from your employer if you are a bonded candidate, etc.) to the college at the time of reporting.

Your admission is conditional on verification of your documents. If the college finds that any of your documents are missing, forged, or do not match the information in your application, your admission will be cancelled. For example, if you claimed a category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) but cannot produce a valid category certificate issued by the competent authority, your admission will be cancelled. If you are a bonded candidate (in-service PMHS), you must produce the original NOC and weightage certificate from your employer. Do not assume your allotment is final until the college has verified all your documents and issued you an admission letter.

  • Gather all original documents immediately: MBBS degree, NEET admit card, identity proof, category certificate (if applicable), NOC and weightage certificate (if bonded)
  • Watch for the reporting date and time announcement from the college or university
  • Report to the college on the scheduled date with all original documents
  • Cooperate fully with the college's document verification process
  • Do not assume admission is final until the college issues an admission letter

What if you were not allotted a seat?

If your row shows 'Seat not available as per Merit/Choices' or 'No Choices filled by the candidate', you have not been allotted a seat in Round 1. This does not mean you cannot get a seat in future rounds. The university may conduct additional rounds of counselling if seats remain vacant or if candidates who were allotted in Round 1 do not report or withdraw. You will be eligible for these subsequent rounds based on your merit rank.

If you did not fill any choices in Round 1, you must fill your choices in the next round (if announced). If you filled choices but no seat was available, review your choices for the next round — consider adding more colleges or specialties to increase your chances of allotment. The university will announce the schedule for the next round separately. Keep checking the official website and your email for updates.

  • You remain eligible for subsequent rounds of counselling
  • Watch for the announcement of the next round's schedule
  • If you did not fill choices in Round 1, prepare to fill them in the next round
  • Consider broadening your choices in the next round to include more colleges and specialties

Important: Documents you must produce at admission

The university has made it clear that if you fail to produce the required original documents at the time of admission, your admission will be cancelled. This is not a warning — it is a firm rule. Do not assume you can submit documents later or that photocopies will be accepted. The college will verify originals only.

Essential documents include: (1) MBBS degree certificate from a recognized medical college, (2) NEET PG 2026 admit card and score card, (3) Identity proof (Aadhaar, passport, or driving license), (4) Category certificate (if you claimed SC/ST/OBC/EWS) — must be issued by the competent authority and must show your sub-group if applicable, (5) NOC (No Objection Certificate) and weightage certificate from your employer (if you are a bonded candidate or in-service PMHS candidate), (6) Any other document specified by the college in its admission notification.

  • MBBS degree certificate (original)
  • NEET PG 2026 admit card and score card (original)
  • Identity proof: Aadhaar, passport, or driving license (original)
  • Category certificate from competent authority (original) — if applicable
  • NOC and weightage certificate from employer (original) — if bonded/in-service
  • Any other document specified by the college

Special rules for bonded and in-service candidates

If you are a bonded candidate (PMHS — Post-MBBS Health Scheme) or an in-service candidate, you must produce the original NOC (No Objection Certificate) and weightage certificate issued by your employer or the competent authority at the time of admission. These certificates must be issued by the authority that imposed the bond or employment condition. A photocopy or email will not be accepted — only the original will be verified.

The weightage certificate shows any bonus marks you are entitled to under the state's weightage scheme for in-service candidates. If you claimed weightage in your application, verify that the 'Incentive Marks' column in the allotment list reflects the correct weightage. If it does not, report the discrepancy to the university by 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM.

  • Obtain the original NOC from your employer or the competent authority
  • Obtain the original weightage certificate showing your bonus marks
  • Bring both documents to the college at the time of reporting
  • Verify that your incentive marks in the allotment list match your weightage certificate

Category and quota information

This allotment list is for NRI quota seats only. NRI quota seats are reserved for Non-Resident Indian candidates and are separate from general merit seats. The allotment is based on the Uttarakhand State NEET PG NRI merit list, which ranks NRI candidates separately from general merit candidates. All candidates in this list have been allotted under the 'NRI Quota' as shown in the 'Alloted Quota' column.

Within the NRI quota, seats are further divided by category (General/UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS). The 'Alloted Category' column shows the category under which you were allotted. If you claimed a category (e.g., OBC) but were allotted under General/UR, it means either your category claim was not verified or no seat was available in your claimed category. If you believe this is an error, report it to the university by 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM.

  • This list covers NRI quota seats only
  • Allotment is based on the Uttarakhand State NEET PG NRI merit list
  • Seats are divided by category: General/UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS
  • Check your allotted category in the 'Alloted Category' column
  • If your allotted category differs from your claimed category, verify the reason or report it

How the allotment was made

The allotment was made using a computerized algorithm based on three factors: (1) your NEET PG rank (merit), (2) the choices you filled during the choice-filling window, and (3) the availability of seats in the NRI quota at each college and specialty. The algorithm processes candidates in order of merit (highest rank first) and allots each candidate to their highest-ranked available choice. Once a seat is allotted, it is no longer available for subsequent candidates.

For example, if you ranked 1st in the NRI merit list and your first choice was General Medicine at College A, you would be allotted that seat (if available). If you ranked 2nd and your first choice was also General Medicine at College A, you would not get that seat (because it was taken by the 1st-ranked candidate), but you would be allotted your next available choice. This is why your 'Alloted Preference Number' may not be '1' — it shows which of your preferences was actually allotted.

  • Allotment is based on merit rank (NEET PG score), choices filled, and seat availability
  • The algorithm processes candidates in order of merit (highest rank first)
  • Each candidate is allotted to their highest-ranked available choice
  • Once a seat is allotted, it is no longer available for other candidates
  • Your allotted preference number shows which of your choices was allotted

Colleges and specialties in this round

In Round 1, seats were available at Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun (a recognized private medical college in Uttarakhand). The specialties offered under the NRI quota at this college include General Medicine, Dermatology, Radiodiagnosis, Paediatrics, General Surgery, and Orthopaedics. The number of NRI quota seats available in each specialty is limited and is determined by the college's recognition and the NMC (National Medical Commission) guidelines.

If you were allotted a seat at this college, you will be joining one of these specialties. If you were not allotted in Round 1, the university may conduct additional rounds in which seats at other colleges or specialties may become available. The university will announce the list of participating colleges and available seats for each subsequent round separately.

  • Round 1 seats were available at Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Dehradun
  • Specialties offered: General Medicine, Dermatology, Radiodiagnosis, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedics
  • All seats in this round are under the NRI quota
  • Additional colleges and specialties may be available in subsequent rounds

Frequently asked questions

How do I check if I was allotted a seat in Round 1?

Search the provisional allotment list for your NEET roll number. If you find your row and it shows a college and specialty in the 'Alloted College/Seat' column, you have been allotted a seat. If the 'Remarks' column shows 'Seat not available as per Merit/Choices' or 'No Choices filled by the candidate', you have not been allotted in this round.

What should I do if I find an error in my allotment list entry?

Report the error to the university immediately by emailing ukneetcounselling@gmail.com with your NEET roll number, a description of the error, and the correct information. Include a screenshot of your row in the list. The university must receive your complaint by 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM. After that deadline, the list becomes final and cannot be changed.

Is this allotment final, or can it change?

This allotment is provisional. It will become final on 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM. Until then, you can report discrepancies. After 2:00 PM on that date, the list is finalized. However, even after finalization, your admission can still be cancelled if you fail to produce required original documents at the time of reporting to the college.

What documents must I bring to the college for admission?

You must bring original documents including: MBBS degree certificate, NEET PG 2026 admit card and score card, identity proof (Aadhaar/passport/driving license), category certificate (if applicable), and NOC and weightage certificate (if you are bonded/in-service). If you fail to produce any required document, your admission will be cancelled.

I was allotted a seat, but I don't want it. Can I withdraw?

The allotment list does not specify a withdrawal deadline. Contact the university at ukneetcounselling@gmail.com or the allotted college immediately to ask about withdrawal procedures. If you withdraw, your seat may be offered to the next candidate in the merit list in a subsequent round.

I was not allotted in Round 1. What happens next?

You remain eligible for subsequent rounds of counselling (if conducted). The university will announce the schedule for the next round separately. Watch for notifications from HNBUMU. In the next round, you will have the opportunity to fill fresh choices or modify your previous choices.

What does 'Alloted Preference Number' mean?

'Alloted Preference Number' shows which of your ranked choices was allotted to you. For example, if it shows '2', it means your second choice was allotted (your first choice was not available). If it shows '1', your first choice was allotted.

I claimed a category (OBC/SC/ST/EWS) but was allotted under General/UR. Why?

This could happen if your category claim was not verified or if no seat was available in your claimed category at the time of allotment. If you believe this is an error, report it to the university by 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM with your category certificate and proof of eligibility.

What is the difference between 'Claimed Category' and 'Alloted Category'?

'Claimed Category' is the category you claimed in your application. 'Alloted Category' is the category under which you were actually allotted a seat. These may differ if your claim was not verified or if no seat was available in your claimed category.

I am a bonded candidate. What extra documents do I need?

You must produce the original NOC (No Objection Certificate) and weightage certificate issued by your employer or the competent authority at the time of admission. These documents must be originals — photocopies will not be accepted. Verify that your incentive marks in the allotment list match your weightage certificate.

Can I appeal or request a change in my allotted college or specialty?

The allotment list does not mention an appeal process. However, you can report discrepancies in your data by 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM. If you wish to request a change, contact the university at ukneetcounselling@gmail.com, but there is no guarantee of a change. Your best option is to participate in subsequent rounds if they are conducted.

When will the next round of counselling be conducted?

The allotment list does not specify the date of the next round. The university will announce the schedule for subsequent rounds separately. Watch for notifications from HNBUMU on its official website and email.

If you were allotted a seat, verify all your details in the list immediately and gather your original documents. If you find any error, report it to ukneetcounselling@gmail.com by 4 November 2026 at 2:00 PM — after that deadline, the list becomes final. Watch for the college's reporting date announcement and report on time with all original documents. If you were not allotted, remain alert for the next round's schedule and prepare to fill fresh choices.
