What Is This Revised Allotment?

On 22 October 2026, the Board released an initial provisional stray vacancy round allotment result. However, after receiving grievances and representations from candidates, and after seeking legal guidance, the Board identified that some candidates who had been allotted seats in this round had already been allotted seats through the MCC stray vacancy process. These candidates were removed from the Rajasthan stray vacancy list to avoid duplicate allotments.

The revised result released on 24 October 2026 reflects these corrections. The earlier result dated 22 October is now superseded by this new list. If your name appears in the revised list, you have been allotted a seat in the stray vacancy round for MBBS or BDS. If you were in the earlier list but are not in the revised list, your allotment has been cancelled due to the MCC removal process.

Is This Result Final?

No. The Board has explicitly stated that this revised result is **provisional and indicative in nature only**. It does not constitute final confirmation of your eligibility, category, reservation claim, or entitlement to admission. Your allotment remains subject to verification, scrutiny, reconciliation, correction and further revision wherever warranted under the applicable counselling rules, regulations and government orders.

Even if your name appears in this list, your admission is not guaranteed. The Board reserves the right to correct, modify, revise, withdraw or cancel any allotment if discrepancies are found during verification—for example, if your documents are invalid, your eligibility criteria are not met, or there are errors in your merit rank or choice filling. Final admission will only be considered after you complete all verification formalities, pay the prescribed fee, and report to your allotted college within the notified timeline.

What Happens Next? Verification and Reporting

If your name is in the revised allotment list, you must act immediately. First, log in to the official portal https://ug.neetrajasthan.com and download your allotment letter. This letter will contain your allotted college, course (MBBS or BDS), seat type (Government, General, or Management), and the reporting date and time.

You must then report to your allotted college on or before the notified date with all required documents. The college will verify your NEET UG merit/rank, educational qualifications, domicile status, category and reservation claims, and the validity of all submitted documents. Any discrepancy, deficiency, invalid document, or misrepresentation may result in rejection of your admission and cancellation of your allotment. You must also pay the prescribed admission fee as per the college's instructions. Only after successful verification, fee payment, and reporting will your admission be considered final.

Important: This Is Not a Vested Right

The Board has made clear that neither the earlier provisional result nor this revised provisional result confers any vested, absolute or indefeasible right to a particular seat, college, course or admission. Simply being listed in this allotment does not guarantee you a seat. Your participation in counselling, inclusion in the result, publication of an allotment letter, or even fee payment does not dispense with the requirement to satisfy all applicable eligibility conditions and admission formalities.

The Board can correct, modify, revise or cancel your allotment at any stage if it finds that you do not meet the eligibility criteria, if your documents are invalid, if there are errors in the counselling records, or if there are discrepancies in your data. This can happen even after you have paid the fee or reported to the college. Always ensure that every document you submit is genuine and that all information you provide is accurate.

What If You Were Allotted in the Earlier List but Not in the Revised List?

If your name appeared in the 22 October allotment but is absent from the 24 October revised list, your allotment has been cancelled. This happened because you were identified as a candidate who had already been allotted a seat through the MCC stray vacancy process. The Board removed you to prevent duplicate allotments across the two systems.

If you believe this removal was an error, or if you have a grievance, you may submit a representation to the Board. However, the Board has cautioned that submission of a grievance does not automatically suspend any applicable deadline or authorise non-compliance with the official counselling schedule. Any further representation will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable procedure and timeline separately notified by the Board. Do not assume that filing a grievance extends your reporting deadline.

Special Case: Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College Seat

One OBC-NCL category general fee seat at Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College, Sri Ganganagar, remains vacant and unallotted. This is because of an interim order dated 16 October 2026 passed by the Hon'ble High Court of Rajasthan, which restrains the allocation of this seat to any candidate. The candidate who was originally allotted this seat (NEET Roll No. 3925105089, RM1180) remains unallotted as a result.

Any future allocation of this seat will be subject to and governed by the final outcome of the High Court case (SBCWP No. 21485/2026). Until the court issues a final order, this seat cannot be allotted to anyone. If you were interested in this seat, you will need to wait for the court's final decision.

Documents You Must Carry for Verification

When you report to your allotted college, you must bring all original documents and copies for verification. The college will check your NEET UG merit/rank, educational qualifications, domicile status, category and reservation claims, and the validity of all documents you submitted during counselling. Missing or invalid documents will result in rejection.

Frequently asked questions

Why was the allotment result revised on 24 October when it was already released on 22 October?

The Board received grievances and representations from candidates after the 22 October result. Upon examination, it was found that some candidates had been allotted seats in both the MCC stray vacancy process and the Rajasthan stray vacancy process. To avoid duplicate allotments, these candidates were removed from the Rajasthan list. The revised result reflects these corrections based on legal guidance and the applicable counselling framework.

If my name is in the revised allotment list, am I guaranteed a seat?

No. The revised result is provisional only. Your allotment is not final and does not guarantee a seat. You must complete document verification at your allotted college, pay the prescribed fee, and report within the notified deadline. If any discrepancy or invalid document is found during verification, your allotment can be cancelled. Final admission is only confirmed after all these steps are completed successfully.

What documents do I need to bring when I report to my allotted college?

You must bring all original documents and copies for verification, including your NEET admit card and score card, 10th and 12th certificates, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate (if applicable), caste certificate (if applicable), income certificate (if applicable for EWS), medical fitness certificate (if required), character certificate, and passport-size photographs. Any missing or invalid document can result in rejection of your admission.

What is the reporting deadline, and what happens if I miss it?

The reporting date and time are mentioned in your allotment letter, which you can download from https://ug.neetrajasthan.com. You must report to your allotted college on or before this date. If you fail to report within the notified deadline, your allotment will be cancelled and your seat will be forfeited. The Board has clarified that submission of a grievance does not extend the reporting deadline.

I was allotted a seat in the 22 October result but my name is not in the revised 24 October list. Why?

Your allotment was cancelled because you were identified as a candidate who had already been allotted a seat through the MCC stray vacancy process. To prevent duplicate allotments, the Board removed you from the Rajasthan stray vacancy list. If you believe this was an error, you may submit a representation to the Board, but this does not automatically extend any deadline or suspend the counselling schedule.

Can the Board cancel my allotment after I have paid the fee and reported to the college?

Yes. The Board reserves the right to cancel or modify your allotment at any stage if discrepancies are found during verification—for example, if your documents are invalid, if you do not meet the eligibility criteria, if there are errors in your merit rank or counselling records, or if there is any misrepresentation in your application. Even after fee payment and reporting, your admission is not final until all verification formalities are completed successfully.

What should I do if I find an error in my allotment letter or candidate details?

Contact the Board immediately through the official counselling portal or the support helpline. Do not ignore discrepancies. However, remember that submitting a grievance does not automatically suspend any deadline or extend the reporting timeline. Act quickly to resolve any issues while ensuring you meet all official deadlines.

What is the status of the OBC-NCL seat at Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College that is shown as vacant?

This seat remains vacant and unallotted due to an interim order dated 16 October 2026 from the Hon'ble High Court of Rajasthan, which restrains allocation of this seat to any candidate. The seat will only be allocated after the High Court issues a final order in case SBCWP No. 21485/2026. Until then, no candidate can be allotted this seat.

How do I know if my documents are valid and acceptable?

Ensure that every document is original, issued by the competent authority, and matches the information you provided in your counselling form. Common issues include expired certificates, certificates issued after the NEET exam date, category certificates that do not show the required sub-group, or domicile certificates from the wrong state. The college will verify all documents during the verification process. If any document is found to be invalid or forged, your admission will be rejected.

What is the difference between this stray vacancy round and the earlier counselling rounds?

The stray vacancy round is conducted after the main counselling rounds to fill any remaining vacant seats. Candidates who did not get a seat in the main rounds or who wish to upgrade their seat can participate in the stray vacancy round. This revised result is for the stray vacancy round only and applies to candidates who participated in this specific round.

Can I appeal or file a grievance against the revised allotment?

Yes, you can submit a representation to the Board if you believe there is an error in your allotment or if you have a grievance. However, the Board has clarified that submission of a grievance does not automatically suspend any applicable deadline, extend the reporting timeline, or authorise non-compliance with the official counselling schedule. Any further representation will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable procedure and timeline separately notified by the Board.
