Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 PwBD Round 1 Revised Allotment: Dates, Joining & Round 2

The Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling Board has issued a revised Round 1 seat allotment list exclusively for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) and PwD (Persons with Disability) candidates, dated 18 September 2026. This revision follows a Supreme Court judgment (dated 7 April 2026) that clarified how horizontal disability reservation must be applied alongside vertical social reservations. All earlier Round 1 allotments for PwBD/PwD candidates have been declared null and void, and a fresh allotment has been prepared. If you are a PwBD/PwD candidate who received an allotment in Round 1, you must act immediately: download your revised allotment letter, re-report at SMS Medical College Jaipur within a tight deadline, and fill fresh choices for Round 2.

What Happened: Why This Revised Allotment?

On 7 April 2026, India's Supreme Court issued a judgment in Civil Appeal No. 10262 of 2025 (The West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Co. Ltd. & Ors. vs. Dipendu Biswas & Ors., 2026 INSC 330). This judgment laid down new principles for how horizontal disability reservation—the right of PwBD/PwD candidates to compete for seats across all categories—must be applied together with vertical social reservations (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.).

Following this judgment, Rajasthan's counselling board found that the Round 1 allotments issued on 29 August 2026 for PwBD/PwD candidates did not correctly apply these principles. As a result, all those allotments were declared null and void on 18 September 2026, and a fresh revised allotment has been prepared and published.

This revision affects ONLY PwBD/PwD candidates. Allotments for all other candidates (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS without disability) remain unchanged. The revised allotment may result in a different college, a different category/quota, or even a fresh allotment for some PwBD/PwD candidates.

Who Is Affected: Are You a PwBD/PwD Candidate?

This notice applies to you if you registered for Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 counselling and declared yourself as a PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability) or PwD (Persons with Disability) candidate. Benchmark Disability means you have a disability recognised under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and your disability is at least 40% (or as certified by a competent medical authority).

If you are a PwBD/PwD candidate and your name appears in the revised allotment list published on 18 September 2026, you have been allotted a seat in Round 1. If your name does not appear, you were not allotted in Round 1 and will be considered in Round 2 choice filling (see below).

If you already reported and joined against your earlier Round 1 allotment (issued on 29 August), you must re-report again—your earlier joining is not valid under the revised allotment.

Critical Dates: Download, Re-Report, and Choice Filling

The timeline is very tight. Mark these dates on your calendar and do not miss them—no extension will be granted for any reason, including failure to check the website, poor internet, or missed phone calls.

• **Download Revised Allotment Letter**: Available only until 8 PM on 19 September 2026. After 8 PM, the download link will be disabled. Download immediately.
• **Round 1 Re-Reporting (Joining)**: 19 September 2026 until 7 PM, and 20 September 2026 until 12 PM (noon). Report at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, for document verification, fee payment, and admission formalities.
• **Round 2 Choice Filling Opens**: 19 September 2026 at 8 PM (after the download deadline). Choices will be open only for PwBD/PwD candidates.
• **Round 2 Choice Filling Closes**: 20 September 2026 at 12 PM (noon). Choices auto-lock at noon; no further changes allowed.
• **Round 2 Allotment Result**: Declared on 20 September 2026.
• **Round 2 Joining**: 20 September 2026 from 2 PM to 5 PM at SMS Medical College, Jaipur.

Step 1: Download Your Revised Allotment Letter

Log in to the official Rajasthan NEET UG counselling portal (ug.neetrajasthan.com) using your registration ID and password. Navigate to the allotment section and download your revised Round 1 allotment letter. The letter will show your allotted college, seat type (Government or Management), category/quota under which you are allotted, and your NEET score and rank.

**Important**: You must download this letter by 8 PM on 19 September 2026. After that time, the download link will be disabled. Save a copy on your phone and computer, and print at least 2–3 copies. You will need to show this letter when you report at the college.

If you have already deposited the counselling fee against your earlier Round 1 allotment, you do NOT need to pay again. The board will carry forward your fee payment.

Step 2: Re-Report at SMS Medical College, Jaipur (Round 1 Joining)

All PwBD/PwD candidates allotted a seat in the revised Round 1 result must report in person at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, for completion of joining formalities. This includes candidates who already reported and joined against the earlier (now-void) allotment—you must re-report.

**Reporting Timeline**: 19 September 2026 until 7 PM, and 20 September 2026 until 12 PM (noon). Choose a time that suits you within this window. Do not delay; report as early as possible to avoid last-minute rush.

**What to Bring**: Your revised allotment letter (printed), original documents (NEET admit card, 10th and 12th mark sheets, NEET scorecard, PwBD/PwD certificate, caste/category certificate if applicable, domicile certificate, identity proof, address proof), and any other documents specified in the counselling prospectus. Keep originals and photocopies ready.

**What Happens at Reporting**: The college will verify your eligibility, PwBD/PwD status and supporting documents, category/reservation status, NEET merit and rank, and the correctness of your allotment. You will complete admission formalities, pay the counselling fee (if not already paid), and receive a provisional admission letter. Your documents will be retained by the college for verification.

Step 3: Fill Fresh Choices for Round 2

After the download deadline (8 PM on 19 September), the counselling portal will open Round 2 choice filling exclusively for PwBD/PwD candidates. All choices you filled earlier are scrapped—you must fill fresh choices.

**Choice Filling Window**: 19 September 2026 at 8 PM to 20 September 2026 at 12 PM (noon). Log in to the portal, review all available colleges and courses, and rank them in order of your preference. You can choose as many colleges as you wish, but rank them carefully—the allotment algorithm will allot you the highest-ranked college for which you are eligible.

**Important Considerations**: Some seats may become 'virtual vacancies' (seats that appear available but may not actually be filled due to candidates not joining or withdrawing). The board advises you to carefully review available choices and consider this possibility. Choices not submitted or finalised within the deadline will be dealt with under the applicable counselling rules and will not create any claim for consideration.

**Auto-Lock**: Your choices will automatically lock at 12 PM on 20 September. After that, you cannot change them. Ensure you have finalised and submitted your choices before the deadline.

Step 4: Round 2 Allotment and Joining

The Round 2 allotment result will be declared on 20 September 2026. Log in to the portal to check your allotment. If you are allotted a seat, you must report at the allotted college for joining formalities.

**Round 2 Joining Timeline**: 20 September 2026 from 2 PM to 5 PM. Report at your allotted college (not necessarily SMS Medical College) with your allotment letter, original documents, and any other required documents. Complete all verification, fee payment, and admission formalities within this 3-hour window.

**Note**: If you are not allotted in Round 2, you will not be considered in further rounds unless the board announces additional rounds. Stay in touch with the official portal for updates.

Important: Your Allotment Is Provisional and Subject to Verification

The revised Round 1 allotment is provisional and indicative. It is subject to verification and scrutiny of your eligibility, PwBD/PwD status and supporting documents, category/reservation/domicile status, NEET merit and rank, correctness of documents and information you provided, and any subsequent government or court order.

The board reserves the right to verify, scrutinise, reconcile, modify, revise, withdraw, or cancel any allotment or admission at any stage if: (a) you are found ineligible; (b) your PwBD/PwD status or supporting documentation is not established; (c) any document or information is found incorrect, incomplete, invalid, or misleading; (d) any discrepancy is found in category/reservation/merit/seat-matrix data; (e) any technical, clerical, computational, or administrative error is identified; or (f) any subsequent verification or court order requires correction.

**No Vested Right**: Publication of an allotment, issuance of an allotment letter, payment of fee, or reporting/joining does not confer a vested, absolute, or indefeasible right to a particular seat, college, category, or continuation of admission. If verification reveals an error or ineligibility, your allotment can be cancelled and any consequential vacancy will be dealt with under the applicable counselling rules.

How the Board Will Contact You

In addition to publishing this notice and the revised result on the official counselling portal, the board will send individual emails to your registered email address and will attempt to call you on your registered mobile number to inform you of the revised allotment.

**However**: Non-receipt of an email, non-response to a call, an unreachable phone number, or a change/inaccuracy in your registered contact details will NOT invalidate this notice or extend any deadline. You are solely responsible for regularly checking the official counselling website (ug.neetrajasthan.com), logging into your account, and monitoring all notices and instructions issued by the board. Do not rely on phone calls or emails alone.

Common Mistakes That Get Allotments Cancelled

**Mistake 1: Not Re-Reporting Even Though You Joined Earlier**. If you reported and joined against the earlier (now-void) Round 1 allotment, you must re-report within the new deadline. Failing to do so will result in cancellation of your admission. The board explicitly states: 'Earlier reporting, fee payment, document submission or provisional joining shall not exempt a candidate from the requirement of re-reporting under this Notice.'

**Mistake 2: Missing the Download Deadline**. Your allotment letter is available only until 8 PM on 19 September. If you do not download it by then, the link will be disabled and you will not have proof of your allotment. Download immediately.

**Mistake 3: Missing the Re-Reporting Deadline**. You must report by 7 PM on 19 September or 12 PM on 20 September. If you miss this window, your allotment will be cancelled. No extension will be granted for any reason.

**Mistake 4: Not Submitting PwBD/PwD Certificate or Supporting Documents**. Your disability certificate must be valid and issued by a competent medical authority. If the certificate is missing, invalid, or does not establish your disability status, your allotment will be cancelled.

**Mistake 5: Providing Incorrect or Misleading Information**. If any document (caste certificate, domicile certificate, NEET scorecard, etc.) is found to be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading, your allotment can be cancelled.

**Mistake 6: Not Filling Round 2 Choices or Filling Them Late**. If you do not fill fresh choices for Round 2 by 12 PM on 20 September, your choices will not be considered and you will not be allotted in Round 2. Fill your choices well before the deadline.

What If Your Name Is Not in the Revised Allotment List?

If your name does not appear in the revised Round 1 allotment list published on 18 September 2026, it means you were not allotted a seat in Round 1. This could be because your NEET rank was not high enough, or your choices did not match available seats, or you were not eligible for the seats you chose.

You will still be eligible to participate in Round 2 choice filling. Log in to the portal on 19 September at 8 PM and fill your choices for Round 2. The Round 2 allotment will be declared on 20 September, and you may be allotted a seat then.

Revised Allotment List: Who Got Seats?

The board has published a revised allotment list containing 66 PwBD/PwD candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1. The list shows each candidate's registration ID, NEET roll number, name, category considered, category allotted (under horizontal disability reservation), NEET score, state merit rank, all-India rank, course (MBBS), and allotted college.

Colleges allotting seats include SMS Medical College Jaipur, RUHS College of Medical Sciences Jaipur, Dr SN Medical College Jodhpur, Sardar Patel Medical College Bikaner, R N T Medical College Udaipur, Government Medical College Kota, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Ajmer, and several others across Rajasthan. All allotted seats are in MBBS; no BDS seats are shown in this list.
