What This Result Covers

This is the provisional allotment result for the 3rd round of online counselling for MBBS and BDS courses under the 2026-27 admission session in Punjab. The result shows which candidates have been provisionally allotted seats in this round. Alongside the allotment list, BFUHS has also published a separate list of candidates who have been debarred (declared ineligible) from competing for the 85% Punjab State Quota seats.

A provisional allotment means your seat is not yet final — you must complete the joining formalities and document verification within the specified deadline to confirm it. The debarred list identifies candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria for state quota seats and therefore cannot be allotted under that category.

See My Colleges

Every candidate who registered and participated in the 3rd round of counselling must check the allotment result. This includes candidates who applied for MBBS seats, BDS seats, or both. If your name appears in the allotment list, you have been provisionally allotted a seat; if your name appears in the debarred list, you are ineligible for 85% state quota seats and must understand the reason before proceeding.

Even if you were allotted a seat in an earlier round, you should check the 3rd round result if you participated in it, as a new allotment in a later round may override your previous allotment.

How to Check Your Status

Visit the official BFUHS admission portal at admission.bfuhsonline.ac.in. Log in using your NEET registration number and password. Navigate to the 3rd round allotment result section and search for your name or roll number in the allotment list. If you do not find your name in the allotment list, check the debarred candidates list to see if you have been declared ineligible for state quota seats.

Download and save a copy of the result for your records. If your name appears in the allotment list, note the seat allotted to you (college name, course, and category) and the deadline for joining and document verification.

What If You Are Debarred

If your name appears in the debarred candidates list, it means you have been found ineligible for the 85% Punjab State Quota seats. This may be due to reasons such as not meeting the domicile requirement for Punjab, not satisfying the eligibility criteria for the category you applied under, or submission of invalid or incomplete documents during counselling registration.

If you believe you have been debarred in error, contact the BFUHS counselling helpline or visit the official portal for the appeal or review process, if one is announced. Do not ignore a debarment notice — it affects your eligibility for future rounds as well.

What If You Are Allotted a Seat

If your name appears in the provisional allotment list, you have been allotted a seat in a college for either MBBS or BDS. This allotment is provisional and becomes final only after you complete the joining process and document verification at the allotted college within the deadline specified by BFUHS.

You must report to the college on or before the joining date with all required original documents (mark sheets, category certificate, domicile certificate, medical fitness certificate, and others as specified). Failure to join by the deadline will result in cancellation of your allotment and forfeiture of the seat.

Important Dates and Next Steps

The provisional allotment result has been published on 10 October 2026. BFUHS will announce the joining deadline and the date for document verification shortly. Watch the official portal and your registered email and phone number for updates. Do not wait for a separate notification — check the portal regularly.

If there are further rounds of counselling, the dates and schedule will be announced separately. Candidates who do not join in the 3rd round may be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds if seats remain vacant.

Frequently asked questions

What does 'provisional allotment' mean?

Provisional allotment means you have been tentatively assigned a seat based on your merit, preferences, and category. It becomes final only after you report to the college, submit all original documents, and complete the joining formalities by the deadline. If you do not join on time, the seat is cancelled.

How do I check if I have been allotted a seat?

Log in to the BFUHS admission portal at admission.bfuhsonline.ac.in using your NEET registration number and password. Search for your name or roll number in the 3rd round allotment result list. If you find your name, note the college, course, and seat category allotted to you.

What does it mean if my name is in the debarred list?

If your name is in the debarred candidates list, you have been declared ineligible for the 85% Punjab State Quota seats. This may be because you do not meet the domicile requirement, category eligibility, or document requirements. Check the portal for the reason and contact BFUHS if you believe this is an error.

Can I appeal if I have been debarred?

The notice does not specify an appeal process. Contact the BFUHS counselling helpline or visit the official portal to ask about the review or appeal procedure for debarred candidates. Do this as soon as possible.

What documents do I need to bring for joining?

The notice does not list the specific documents required for joining. BFUHS will announce the document checklist along with the joining deadline. Typically, you will need your NEET admit card, mark sheet, category certificate (if applicable), domicile certificate, medical fitness certificate, and other documents as specified by the college.

What happens if I do not join by the deadline?

If you do not report to the college and complete the joining process by the deadline, your provisional allotment will be cancelled and the seat will be forfeited. You may lose your chance to study in that college and course.

Will there be more rounds of counselling after the 3rd round?

The notice does not confirm whether there will be further rounds. BFUHS will announce the schedule for any subsequent rounds on the official portal. Keep checking the portal and your registered email for updates.

I was allotted a seat in round 2. Do I need to check the round 3 result?

Yes. If you participated in the 3rd round, a new allotment in round 3 may override your round 2 allotment. Check the round 3 result to see if you have been allotted a different seat. If you are not allotted in round 3, your round 2 allotment remains valid.

Where can I find the full allotment list and debarred list?

Both lists are published on the official BFUHS admission portal at admission.bfuhsonline.ac.in. Log in with your NEET registration number and password to access them.

What is the 85% Punjab State Quota?

The 85% Punjab State Quota refers to seats in MBBS and BDS colleges in Punjab that are reserved for candidates who meet the state's domicile and eligibility criteria. The remaining 15% are typically filled through other quotas (central, management, or NRI). The debarred list identifies candidates ineligible for these 85% state quota seats.

Check the BFUHS admission portal at admission.bfuhsonline.ac.in immediately to see your allotment status and verify whether you are in the allotted or debarred list. If you are allotted, note the joining deadline and prepare your documents. If you are debarred, contact BFUHS to understand the reason and explore your options. Watch the portal for the joining schedule and any announcements about further rounds.
