CENTAC Puducherry — [12-10-2026] - NOTICE : ROUND 3 PROVISIONAL ALLOTMENT LIST FOR UG NEET-BASED COURSES 2026-2027Official PDF notice published by CENTAC Puducherry. Always confirm details against the official document.

What is Round 3 Allotment and Why It Matters

Round 3 is the final allotment round in Puducherry's NEET UG 2026 counselling. After Round 1 and Round 2, some seats remain vacant because candidates decline their allotments, withdraw, or do not join. CENTAC fills these vacant seats in Round 3 by inviting fresh candidates from the waiting list. This is your last chance to secure a seat in this admission cycle.

The allotment has been published after CENTAC reviewed and disposed of all objections and grievances candidates raised against the Draft Allotment List. The list is now final and binding. You can check whether you have been allotted a seat by logging into your CENTAC dashboard using your credentials.

Seats Allotted in Round 3: Course-wise Breakdown

A total of 1,196 seats have been allotted across nine course–quota combinations. MBBS has the largest allotment (483 seats across all quotas), followed by BDS (249 seats). BAMS and BVSc & AH have smaller intakes. The table below shows exactly how many seats were available and how many were filled in each category.

Important Notes on MBBS Government Quota Allotments

Three special conditions apply to some MBBS Government Quota seats. First, admission to 4 allotted seats is subject to the outcome of a pending High Court case (W.A. No. 2674 of 2026). This means if you are allotted one of these 4 seats, your admission is not yet final — it depends on the court's decision. You should still proceed with verification and joining, but be aware that your seat may be cancelled if the court rules against the government.

Second, 1 seat has been released and allotted under MSP (Minority Sports Persons) quota as per a High Court order (W.P. No. 36623 of 2026). If you are this candidate, you must report to CENTAC on 13.10.2026 for sports certificate verification.

Third, 1 seat has been allotted and withheld at PIMS (Puducherry Institute of Medical Sciences) under USC/GSS (Unreserved Sports Category / Government Sports Scheme) as per another High Court order (W.P. No. 38666 of 2026). This seat is held and not yet activated for joining.

How to Check Your Allotment and Download Your Allotment Order

Log into your CENTAC dashboard using your login credentials (username and password). On the dashboard, you will see your allotment status — whether you have been allotted a seat, which course, which college, and which quota. Once you confirm your allotment, download your allotment order. This is a critical document; you must carry it to the college when you report for admission.

If you have not been allotted a seat, your registration fee will be refunded in full (see the Refund section below for details). If you have been allotted, proceed immediately to document verification (if required) and fee payment.

Not all candidates need to report to CENTAC for document verification. Only candidates who are **newly allotted in Round 3** under **MSP (Minority Sports Persons) quota** or **NRI quota** must report. If you were allotted in Round 1 or Round 2 and have already verified your documents, you do NOT need to verify again — you can download your allotment order and go directly to the college.

**MSP Candidates (newly allotted in Round 3):** Report to the CENTAC office on **13.10.2026** (date not specified in notice, but implied from context) for verification of your original sports certificate by the Directorate of Sports & Youth Services. Your allotment order will be enabled (activated) only after successful verification.

**NRI Candidates (newly allotted in Round 3):** Report to the CENTAC office on **13.10.2026 between 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m.** for verification of your original NRI certificate. Your allotment order will be enabled only after successful verification. Bring all original documents as specified in the NRI eligibility criteria.

**All other candidates:** Download your allotment order from the dashboard and proceed directly to your allotted college. You do not need to visit CENTAC.

  • NRI candidates newly allotted: Report 13.10.2026, 10 am–3 pm with original NRI certificate
  • All other candidates: Download allotment order and go directly to college
  • Candidates verified in Round 1/2: No re-verification needed; download order and join college

Joining Your College: Deadline and Required Documents

Once you have downloaded your allotment order (and completed document verification if required), you must report to the Principal of your allotted college. You can start reporting from **12.10.2026** (the day the allotment was published). The **last date and time to join is 14.10.2026 at 5.00 pm**. If you do not join by this deadline, your seat will be cancelled and your registration fee will be forfeited.

When you report to the college, bring **all original certificates** along with your **allotment order**. The college will verify these documents and complete your admission formalities. Admission is strictly conditional on the production of all original certificates and completion of all formalities. Do not delay — report as soon as possible after downloading your allotment order.

  • Start reporting to college from: 12.10.2026
  • Last date and time to join: 14.10.2026, 5.00 pm
  • Bring: All original certificates + allotment order
  • Failure to join by deadline: Seat cancelled, registration fee forfeited

Fee Payment: How to Pay and Who is Exempt

The fee structure for all UG NEET-based courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BVSc & AH) for 2026–2027 has been uploaded on the CENTAC website. You must pay the requisite fee to secure your seat. Payment must be made through **NET BANKING** or by generating an **NEFT / RTGS challan** using the payment option in your dashboard login. Do not pay by any other method.

**Critical:** Pay the **exact amount** shown in the challan. If you pay a different amount, it may be returned and your payment will fail. For NEFT / RTGS, the challan can be used only once — do not attempt to use it multiple times. Read the HELP instructions on the dashboard carefully before proceeding. The fee you pay will be transferred by CENTAC to your allotted college.

**Fee Exemptions:** The following candidates do NOT need to pay any fee: (1) Puducherry SC/ST candidates allotted under Government Quota — their fee will be paid by the AD Welfare Department; (2) Puducherry EBC candidates allotted under Government Quota — their fee will be paid by the Fisheries Department; (3) Puducherry candidates allotted under 10% Government School reservation — no fee payment required. If you fall into any of these categories, do not attempt to pay; the government will handle it.

  • Payment method: NET BANKING or NEFT/RTGS challan via dashboard
  • Pay exact amount shown in challan — different amounts may be rejected
  • NEFT/RTGS challan can be used only once
  • SC/ST/EBC/GSS candidates: No fee payment required (government pays)
  • Fee will be transferred to your allotted college

Special Rules for Candidates Who Joined in Round 1 or Round 2

If you joined a course in Round 1 or Round 2 and have now been allotted a **different course** in Round 3, you must pay the **balance tuition fee** if there is any difference between what you paid in the earlier round and what is due for this new course. Any excess amount you paid in Round 1 or Round 2 will be refunded to you.

If you joined in Round 1 or Round 2 and have been **retained in the same course** in Round 3 (i.e., you were not transferred to a new course), you **cannot withdraw or resign** your admission. You must continue in that course.

  • Transferred to new course in Round 3: Pay balance tuition fee if any difference exists
  • Excess fees from earlier rounds: Will be refunded
  • Retained in same course: Cannot withdraw or resign admission

Registration Fee Refund and Forfeiture Rules

Your registration fee (paid during initial registration) is handled differently depending on your allotment and joining status. Understanding these rules is critical because forfeiture can mean losing money.

**If you were NOT allotted any seat in Round 3:** Your registration fee will be refunded in full.

**If you were allotted a seat and you JOIN the course:** Your registration fee will be adjusted (credited) against your tuition fee, and you will pay only the balance tuition fee.

**If you were allotted a seat but you DECLINE or DO NOT JOIN by 14.10.2026, 5 pm:** Your registration fee will be **forfeited** (you lose it). This is a strict rule — if you do not join, you forfeit the fee.

**Special rule for SC/ST/EBC/GSS candidates:** Your registration fee will be refunded **only if you join** the allotted seat. If you do not join, the fee is forfeited.

**If you joined in Round 1/2 and were transferred to a new course in Round 3 but do NOT join the new course:** You will forfeit an amount equal to the registration fee for the new allotted course. The balance tuition fee (if any) will be refunded after deducting this forfeiture amount.

  • Not allotted in Round 3: Registration fee refunded fully
  • Allotted and join: Registration fee adjusted in tuition fee
  • Allotted but decline/don't join: Registration fee forfeited
  • SC/ST/EBC/GSS: Registration fee refunded only if you join
  • Transferred from earlier round but don't join new course: Forfeit registration fee for new course; balance tuition refunded after deduction

Critical Traps and Mistakes to Avoid

**Trap 1 — Missing the joining deadline:** The last date to join is 14.10.2026 at 5.00 pm. If you miss this, your seat is cancelled and your registration fee is forfeited. There is no extension. Do not assume you can join later.

**Trap 2 — Paying the wrong fee amount:** If you pay a different amount than what the challan specifies, your payment may be rejected and returned. Always pay the exact amount. For NEFT/RTGS, the challan is single-use — do not try to use it twice.

**Trap 3 — Not bringing original certificates to the college:** Admission is strictly conditional on production of all original certificates. If you forget them or do not have them ready, the college will not admit you. Bring every certificate the college asks for.

**Trap 4 — Assuming you don't need to verify documents:** If you are newly allotted under MSP or NRI quota, you MUST report to CENTAC on 13.10.2026 for verification. If you skip this, your allotment order will not be enabled and you cannot join.

**Trap 5 — Forfeiting your fee by not joining:** If you are allotted but decide not to join, your registration fee is forfeited. This is non-refundable. Do not accept an allotment unless you are certain you will join.

**Trap 6 — Misunderstanding the court-conditional seats:** Four MBBS Government Quota seats are subject to a pending High Court case. If you are allotted one of these, your admission is provisional and may be cancelled if the court rules against the government. Proceed with caution.

Frequently asked questions

How do I check if I have been allotted a seat in Round 3?

Your allotment status will be displayed on the dashboard, showing whether you have been allotted a seat, which course, which college, and which quota. If you have been allotted, download your allotment order immediately.

I was allotted in Round 1 and now allotted again in Round 3 to a different course. What do I do?

You must pay the balance tuition fee if there is any difference between what you paid in Round 1 and what is due for the new course in Round 3. Any excess amount you paid in Round 1 will be refunded. Your registration fee will be adjusted in the new tuition fee.

What does it mean that 4 MBBS Government Quota seats are subject to a pending High Court case?

It means admission to these 4 seats is provisional and depends on the outcome of a High Court case (W.A. No. 2674 of 2026). If you are allotted one of these seats, you should proceed with verification and joining, but be aware that your admission may be cancelled if the court rules against the government.

Will my registration fee be refunded if I am not allotted?

Yes. If you have not been allotted any seat in Round 3, your registration fee will be refunded in full.

Can I withdraw my admission after joining in Round 3?

If you joined in Round 1 or 2 and have been retained in the same course in Round 3, you cannot withdraw or resign your admission. If you joined in Round 3 and later wish to withdraw, your registration fee will be forfeited.

What if I pay the wrong fee amount?

If you pay a different amount than what the challan specifies, your payment may be rejected and returned. Always pay the exact amount shown in the challan. For NEFT/RTGS, the challan is single-use and cannot be used twice.

Where can I get help if I have questions?

Visit www.centacpuducherry.in, submit queries through the Grievances option in your dashboard, or call the CENTAC Helpline at 0413-2655570 or 0413-2655571. SMS notifications have also been sent to all candidates.

Download your allotment order from the CENTAC dashboard immediately. If you are newly allotted under MSP or NRI quota, report to CENTAC on 13.10.2026 for document verification. Pay your fee using the exact amount shown in the challan via NET BANKING or NEFT/RTGS. Report to your allotted college with all original certificates and your allotment order by 14.10.2026 at 5.00 pm — this is a hard deadline, and missing it will result in forfeiture of your seat and registration fee.
