Who is Included in the Round 2 Eligible List?

First, all candidates who were admitted in Round 1 are automatically included — whether or not they have submitted willingness for Round 2. This means if you joined a course in Round 1, your name will appear on this list.

Second, candidates who have NOT joined in Round 1 but have submitted willingness for Round 2 AND paid the Round 2 Registration Fee are included. If you did not join Round 1 and did not pay the Round 2 fee, you will not appear on this list.

Critical Trap: What Happens If You Joined Round 1 but Did Not Submit Willingness for Round 2?

This is a crucial rule that catches many candidates off guard. If you joined a course in Round 1 and did NOT submit your willingness for Round 2, you will be automatically retained in that same course. You cannot participate in Round 2 allotment, and you cannot change your course.

This means if you joined a course in Round 1 that was not your first choice, and you did not submit willingness for Round 2, you are locked into that course. There is no second chance. The only way to participate in Round 2 is to have submitted willingness before the deadline.

Only candidates who have BOTH submitted willingness for Round 2 AND paid the required fee will be considered. If you joined in Round 1, you must have paid the Round 2 Registration Fee. If you are a Puducherry SC/ST/EBC candidate who joined in Round 1 under Government Quota and have submitted willingness for Round 2, you will be considered for allotment ONLY if you have paid the Round 2 Registration Fee. This is a mandatory condition — without the fee payment, you will not be considered, even though you are on the eligible list.
