Joining deadline and reporting requirements

The last date and time to join your allotted college is 30 September 2026 at 5:00 pm. This is a hard deadline — applications or admissions received after this time will not be accepted. You must physically report to the Principal of your allotted college on or before this date and time.

When you report, bring the following: (1) your downloaded allotment order, (2) all original certificates (MBBS degree, mark sheets, category certificate if applicable, identity proof, etc.), and (3) any other documents specified by the college. Admission is strictly conditional on production of all original certificates and completion of all admission formalities as per the college's requirements.

Fee payment: who pays and how

The fee structure for MDS courses for 2026-27 has been uploaded on the CENTAC website. Most candidates must pay their fee by bank transfer to the CENTAC account. Pay the exact amount shown in the challan — if you pay a different amount, it may be returned and your payment will fail.

Fee exemption for SC/ST and EBC candidates

If you are a Puducherry SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), or EBC (Extremely Backward Class) candidate and you have been allotted a seat under the Government Quota, you do NOT need to pay any fee. The Puducherry AD (Assistant Director) Welfare Department will pay the fee for SC/ST candidates, and the Fisheries Department will pay for EBC candidates.

If you fall into this category, do not attempt to make a payment. Simply report to your college with your allotment order and original certificates. The college will coordinate with the relevant government department for fee payment.
