Understanding Your Common State Rank
Your common state rank is calculated by OJEE based on your NEET UG 2026 score. It is used to determine the order in which candidates are considered for allotment. A lower rank number is better — rank 1 is the highest-ranked candidate.
The rank is common across all categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD) — meaning all candidates are ranked together. However, seats are reserved for each category, so a candidate with a lower rank in a reserved category may get a seat before a candidate with a higher rank in the General category, if the General seats are full.
