What to Do If You Forget Your Login Password
If you cannot recall the password you set during the NEET PG application process, do not attempt to use third-party websites or unofficial recovery tools. NBEMS has built a password recovery mechanism directly into the nbe.edu.in portal. Use the official 'Forgot Password' or password recovery option available on the login page.
This ensures your personal and examination data remain secure and that you access your genuine scorecard through the legitimate channel. Keep your recovered password safe and do not share it with anyone. If you continue to face technical issues, contact NBEMS support through the official website.
Why Your Scorecard Matters for PG Counselling and Admission
Your NEET PG scorecard is not merely a record of your exam performance — it is a mandatory document for the entire PG admission process. Counselling authorities, whether at the state or national level, will require your scorecard to verify your marks, percentile, rank, and qualifying status before allocating you a seat. Without a valid scorecard, you cannot participate in counselling.

The percentile and rank on your scorecard determine which colleges and specialities you are eligible to apply for. Your qualifying status confirms that you meet the minimum cutoff set by NBEMS or the respective counselling body. Therefore, it is critical to download your scorecard as soon as it is released, verify all details for accuracy, and keep both digital and printed copies safe throughout the admission cycle.
How to Verify Your Scorecard for Accuracy
Once you download your NEET PG scorecard, take time to carefully review every detail. Check that your name, roll number, and application number match your records. Verify that your marks, percentile, and rank are displayed correctly. Confirm that your qualifying status shows 'Qualified' if you expected to pass the cutoff.
If you notice any discrepancy — such as an incorrect name, wrong marks, or an unexpected non-qualifying status — do not ignore it. Document the error and contact NBEMS immediately through the official website or support channels. Errors on the scorecard can affect your counselling eligibility and seat allocation, so it is essential to flag and resolve them promptly.
Keeping Your Scorecard Safe: Digital and Physical Copies
After downloading your NEET PG scorecard PDF, save it in a secure location on your computer or cloud storage. Create a backup copy so that if one is lost or corrupted, you have another. Also print a hard copy of the scorecard and store it in a safe place — preferably in a folder with other important admission documents.
You will need to produce your scorecard during counselling registration, at the time of document verification, and when joining your allotted college. Having both digital and physical copies ensures you are prepared for any stage of the admission process and can quickly provide proof of your qualification if required.
What Happens After You Download Your Scorecard?
Downloading your scorecard is one step in a longer admission journey. After you have your scorecard in hand, the next phase is PG counselling, which will be announced separately by the relevant counselling authority — whether MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) for all-India seats, state counselling boards, or individual college counselling processes.
During counselling, you will register using your scorecard details, choose your preferred colleges and specialities based on your rank and eligibility, and participate in seat allocation rounds. Your scorecard will be verified during document checking before you finally join your allotted college. Stay alert for counselling notifications and deadlines, as missing them can result in loss of your seat.
