What Information Your Scorecard Contains
Your NEET-PG 2026 scorecard provides a complete picture of your examination performance. It shows your overall score, but more importantly, it breaks down your performance question by question. For each question, you can see the response you recorded during the exam, the correct answer according to NBEMS, and the marks you received. This granular view is invaluable for understanding where you lost marks and identifying patterns in your mistakes—whether they were due to knowledge gaps, misreading, or careless errors.
- Overall examination score
- Question-wise breakdown of your responses
- Official answer key for each question
- Marks awarded for each question under the prescribed evaluation scheme
- Recorded responses as you submitted them during the exam
Why Downloading Your Scorecard Immediately Matters
NBEMS has explicitly stated that individual scorecards are available for download for a limited period only. This is not a permanent archive; the portal will eventually close access to individual records. Candidates who delay downloading risk losing access to their detailed performance data. Beyond the immediate need to verify your score, having a saved copy of your scorecard is essential for counselling registration, college applications, and your own records. Many states and institutions may require proof of your NEET-PG score during the admission process.
- Limited-time availability—do not postpone downloading
- Required for counselling registration and college applications
- Serves as official proof of your NEET-PG score
- Useful for your personal records and future reference
- May be needed if you file an objection or appeal

Using Your Answer Key to Review Performance
The answer key released alongside your scorecard is your tool for detailed self-assessment. Compare your recorded responses against the official answers to identify which questions you answered correctly, which you got wrong, and which you may have left blank. This review is particularly useful if you are considering filing an objection to any question or if you want to understand your weak areas before pursuing a particular speciality in your PG course. Some candidates also use this data to decide whether to attempt counselling in their current rank or wait for a future attempt.
Security and Safety When Downloading
When accessing your scorecard, always ensure you are on the official NBEMS website (natboard.edu.in) and not a phishing or fraudulent site. Do not share your login credentials with anyone, and be cautious of emails or messages claiming to offer scorecard downloads or shortcuts. Once you have downloaded your scorecard, store it securely—preferably in multiple formats (PDF, printed copy) and in multiple locations (cloud storage, email, external drive). Your scorecard is a sensitive document containing your personal examination data.
- Verify the URL is natboard.edu.in before entering credentials
- Never share your login details with anyone
- Beware of phishing emails or fraudulent download links
- Save your scorecard in multiple formats and locations
- Treat your scorecard as a confidential document
