As per the official NBEMS notice dated 24 September 2026, the result — showing each candidate's raw score and NEET-PG 2026 rank — is live now on the official website, natboard.edu.in. NEET-PG 2026 was held on 30 August 2026 for admission to MD, MS, DNB, DrNB (Direct 6-year course) and PG Medical Diploma courses for the 2026-27 session; a re-examination was held on 5 September 2026 in Jaipur for candidates affected by a technical glitch at the iON Digital Zone (iDZ) Sitapura centre. In all, 2,63,544 candidates appeared on 30 August and 2,416 on 5 September.

NEET-PG 2026 qualifying cut-off scores (category-wise)
NBEMS has released the minimum qualifying cut-off scores for NEET-PG 2026. To be eligible for counselling and admission to MD/MS/DNB/DrNB (Direct 6-year)/PG Diploma courses, a candidate must score at or above the cut-off for their category. The cut-offs, out of 720, are:

- Go to the official NBEMS website, natboard.edu.in, and open the NEET-PG 2026 index/result page.
- Click the 'NEET-PG 2026 result' link to view the result now — it shows your raw score and NEET-PG 2026 rank.
- Log in through your individual applicant login (application number and password) where prompted.
- From 1 October 2026, log in again to download your individual scorecard (available for 6 months from the issue date — save a copy).
- From 1 October 2026, you can also view the question-wise answer key: question ID, correct answer key ID, your marked response ID, and the score as per the marking scheme.

NEET-PG 2026 answer key: what to expect
In line with the NEET-PG 2026 information bulletin (clauses 9.7 and 10.7) and the Hon'ble Supreme Court's order dated 29 April 2025 in SLP No. 9298 of 2018, NBEMS will publish the NEET-PG 2026 answer key on or after 1 October 2026. Through their individual login on the NEET-PG index page, candidates will be able to see, for every question, the question ID, the correct answer key ID, their own marked response ID, and the score awarded as per the marking scheme — a first-of-its-kind transparency step for NEET-PG.
What happens after the result? NEET-PG 2026 counselling
Once you have qualified, the next step is NEET-PG counselling, conducted in two streams. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under DGHS, runs the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) counselling for MD/MS/PG-Diploma seats in government colleges, plus deemed and central universities and DNB seats. The remaining 50% state-quota seats are counselled by each state's own authority for its eligible/domicile candidates. Both run in multiple rounds — registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and reporting — strictly on the basis of your NEET-PG rank, category, quota and locked choices.
