The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, has published the provisional first round allotment list for NEET PG 2026 counselling. This list shows which candidates have been allocated seats in MD, MS, DNB (post-MBBS), and PG Diploma courses across participating medical colleges in the state. The allotment is based on merit, category, and the choices candidates submitted during the choice-filling window. Candidates must now check the list to see if they have been allotted a seat, and if so, which college and course they have been assigned to. This is a provisional list — candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the joining process by the deadline set by DME to confirm their admission.

What is this allotment list?

This is the official provisional allotment result for the first round of NEET PG 2026 counselling conducted by Madhya Pradesh DME. It contains the names and roll numbers of candidates who have been allocated seats, along with the college, course (MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma), and category under which they have been allotted.

The allotment is based on your NEET PG merit rank, the category you belong to (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.), and the choices you submitted in order of preference during the choice-filling window. Candidates with higher ranks and those who filled their preferred colleges early in the choice list have a better chance of getting their preferred seat.

Who should check this list?

Every candidate who appeared for NEET PG 2026 and registered for MP state counselling should check this list. Whether you filled choices or not, whether you are a state domicile or an all-India candidate, you must verify your name and roll number in the allotment list.

If your name appears in the list, you have been allotted a seat. If your name does not appear, it means you have not been allotted a seat in this round — you may be eligible for subsequent rounds or mop-up counselling, depending on DME's schedule.

How to check your allotment status

Visit the official MPOnline portal at https://dme.mponline.gov.in/ql_dme/DMECounselling_Public/DMEPG/2026/DISPLAY_ALLOTMENT_RESULT%20LIST_c_57.pdf or the main DME Madhya Pradesh counselling website. The allotment list is published as a searchable document or downloadable PDF.

Search for your name or NEET PG roll number in the list. The list will show your allotted college, course, category, and any other relevant details. Note down all this information carefully — you will need it for the joining process.

What 'provisional' means

The allotment list is marked 'provisional' because it is subject to verification of your documents and eligibility. Even if your name appears in the list, your seat is not final until you report to the allotted college, submit all required documents (MBBS degree, NEET PG scorecard, category certificate, etc.), and complete the joining formalities.

If any discrepancy is found in your documents or eligibility during joining, your seat may be cancelled. Therefore, ensure all your certificates and documents are in order and ready to submit.

Next steps after allotment

If you have been allotted a seat, DME will announce a joining deadline (usually within 3–7 days of the allotment list publication). You must report to your allotted college on or before this deadline with all required documents.

Bring your original MBBS degree, NEET PG scorecard, category certificate (if applicable), identity proof, and any other documents specified by DME. Failure to join by the deadline will result in forfeiture of your seat, and it may be offered to the next candidate in the merit list.

If you have not been allotted a seat, wait for DME's announcement of the next round or mop-up counselling. Candidates not allotted in earlier rounds may get seats in subsequent rounds.

Important points to remember

This is the first round allotment only. If you are not satisfied with your allotment or did not get a seat, you may be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds or mop-up counselling, subject to DME's rules.

Do not delay in checking the list. The joining deadline is usually announced immediately after the allotment list is published, and missing it will cost you your seat.

Keep a copy of the allotment list (screenshot or printout) for your records. You will need it for joining and for any future correspondence with the college or DME.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I have been allotted a seat?

Visit the official MPOnline DME portal and search for your name or NEET PG roll number in the first round allotment list. If your name appears with a college and course name, you have been allotted a seat. If your name is not in the list, you have not been allotted in this round.

What does 'provisional' allotment mean?

Provisional means your seat is conditional and not final. It becomes final only after you report to the college, submit all original documents, and complete the joining process. If your documents are found to be incomplete or ineligible, your seat may be cancelled.

What should I do immediately after seeing my name in the allotment list?

Note down your allotted college, course, and category carefully. Check DME's website for the joining deadline (usually announced within days of the allotment list). Gather all required documents — MBBS degree, NEET PG scorecard, category certificate, identity proof — and prepare to report to the college by the deadline.

What happens if I miss the joining deadline?

If you do not report to the college by the announced deadline, your seat will be forfeited and offered to the next candidate in the merit list. You will lose your allotment and may not be eligible for further rounds.

I did not get a seat in the first round. What are my options?

You may be eligible to participate in the second round, third round, or mop-up counselling, depending on DME's schedule and the number of vacant seats. Wait for DME's announcement of the next round and register if you wish to participate.

Can I change my allotted college or course after the first round?

No, you cannot change your allotment in the first round. However, if you do not join and forfeit your seat, you may participate in subsequent rounds and choose different colleges or courses based on available vacancies.

Which courses are included in this first round allotment?

This allotment covers MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), DNB (post-MBBS), and PG Diploma courses across Madhya Pradesh medical colleges. The exact specialties available depend on the colleges and their intake capacity.

Is the allotment list final, or can it change?

The allotment list is provisional and subject to verification of documents and eligibility at the time of joining. DME may also release updated or corrected versions if errors are found. Always check the official portal for the latest version.

What documents do I need to bring for joining?

Bring your original MBBS degree, NEET PG scorecard, category certificate (if applicable), identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, passport), and any other documents specified by DME or your allotted college. Check the college's joining notice for a complete list.

Can I see the merit list or cutoff ranks for this round?

The allotment list itself shows which candidates have been allotted seats. For detailed merit lists, cutoff ranks, and category-wise data, check DME's official website or the MPOnline portal for separate merit list documents.

Check the allotment list immediately at the official MPOnline DME portal. If your name appears, note your allotted college and course, and prepare to join by the deadline that DME will announce shortly. Bring all required original documents to the college. If you have not been allotted a seat, watch for the announcement of the next round.
