What is this result?

The result covers all All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MD, MS and PG Diploma programmes across participating government and private medical colleges.

Every candidate who filled choices during Round 1 choice-filling is included in this result. The allotment has been made based on your NEET PG rank, your choices, the specialty and college availability, and the counselling rules set by MCC.

What if you have been allotted a seat?

If your name appears in the allotment result with a seat allotted, you must now proceed to the joining stage. MCC will announce the joining deadline — you must report to your allotted college, complete document verification, pay the joining fee, and formally register as a postgraduate student by this deadline. Failure to join by the deadline will result in forfeiture of your seat.

Before joining, verify that all your documents (MBBS degree, NEET PG scorecard, category certificate if applicable, and other required certificates) are in order and match the information you provided during counselling. Contact your allotted college in advance if you have any questions about the joining process or required documents.

  • Check the joining deadline announced by MCC
  • Prepare all required documents (MBBS degree, NEET PG scorecard, category certificate, etc.)
  • Report to your allotted college on or before the joining deadline
  • Complete document verification and pay the joining fee
  • Register as a postgraduate student

What if you have not been allotted a seat?

If your name does not appear in the allotment result, it means no seat matching your choices and rank was available in Round 1. This does not mean you cannot get a seat — MCC will conduct further counselling rounds (Round 2, Stray Vacancy Round, etc.) in which more seats may become available. You will be eligible to participate in these subsequent rounds if you wish.

Keep your NEET PG scorecard and all documents ready for the next round. Monitor the MCC website for announcements of the next counselling round, including the choice-filling window and allotment date.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I check the Round 1 Final Allotment Result?

Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in, log in with your NEET PG registration number and password, and navigate to the Round 1 Final Allotment Result section. The result document is a large list — search for your registration number to find your allotment details.

What information will I see in the allotment result?

The result will show your name, registration number, allotted college name, allotted specialty (MD, MS or PG Diploma), and the seat category (AIQ or other) under which you have been allotted. It may also show your NEET PG rank and the choice number you filled for that specialty.

I have been allotted a seat. What do I do next?

You must join your allotted college by the joining deadline announced by MCC. Prepare all required documents (MBBS degree, NEET PG scorecard, category certificate if applicable), report to the college, complete document verification, pay the joining fee, and register as a postgraduate student. Failure to join by the deadline will result in forfeiture of your seat.

I have not been allotted a seat in Round 1. Does this mean I cannot get a seat?

No. It means no seat matching your choices and rank was available in Round 1. You remain eligible for Round 2 and subsequent counselling rounds. Keep your documents ready and participate in the next round if you wish.

When is the joining deadline?

MCC will announce the joining deadline separately after the allotment result. It is typically a few days after the allotment date. Check the MCC website regularly for this announcement — do not miss it.

Can I change my allotted specialty or college?

No. Once you have been allotted a seat, you cannot change it in Round 1. If you do not wish to join, you can participate in Round 2 or subsequent rounds, where you may get a different specialty or college based on your choices and rank.

What if my name appears in the result but with an error (wrong college, wrong specialty, or wrong name)?

Contact MCC immediately with proof of the error. MCC has a process to correct genuine errors in the allotment result. Do not ignore the error — report it before the joining deadline so it can be corrected.

I lost my NEET PG scorecard. Can I still join?

You must have your NEET PG scorecard (or a certified copy) to join. If you have lost it, contact the NEET PG authority (NBEMS or the relevant body) immediately to request a duplicate or certified copy. Do this before the joining deadline.

Can I defer my admission to the next year?

This depends on the rules set by MCC and your allotted college. Some colleges may allow deferment, others may not. Contact your allotted college directly to ask about deferment options. Do not assume you can defer — confirm this before the joining deadline.

What happens if I join late (after the joining deadline)?

If you join after the deadline, your allotment may be cancelled and your seat forfeited. MCC may not allow late joining. Always join on or before the deadline announced by MCC.

Check the MCC website (mcc.nic.in) immediately to view the Round 1 Final Allotment Result and find your allotment status. If you have been allotted a seat, note the joining deadline (to be announced by MCC) and prepare your documents for joining. If you have not been allotted a seat, stay alert for Round 2 announcements.
