The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has published the first phase centralised allotment for MBBS and BDS admissions under KEAM 2026. This allotment covers state-quota seats in Government Medical/Dental colleges and Private Self-Financing Medical/Dental colleges in Kerala (NRI quota seats are not included). The list has been finalised after CEE reviewed and resolved valid complaints against the earlier provisional allotment that was published on 25 August 2026. If you registered for KEAM 2026 and are wondering what to do next, this notice tells you exactly what to check, what to pay, and by when to join.
If you have been allotted a seat, you must check your allotment memo and DataSheet on the CEE website, pay the required fee, and physically join the allotted college between 29 August 2026 and 5 September 2026 (4:00 PM) — missing this window means losing both the seat and every higher-preference option you had.
What exactly has been published
This is the first phase (round 1) allotment result for MBBS/BDS admissions to Kerala's state-quota seats — both in Government colleges and in Private Self-Financing Medical/Dental colleges, excluding NRI quota seats. It is available on www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
This allotment is final for this phase — it already incorporates corrections made after candidates' complaints on the earlier provisional list (published 25 August 2026) were reviewed.
How to check your allotment
Log in to your candidate home page on the CEE website to see your allotment details: your name, roll number, allotted course, allotted college, category under which you were allotted, and fee details.
Two documents are critical and must be printed:
- Allotment Memo — take a printout from your home page; it carries your official allotment details.
- DataSheet — click the 'Data Sheet' menu item on your home page to download and print this; it contains your basic candidate details.
Documents you must carry to the college
Along with the printed Allotment Memo and DataSheet, you must also carry the documents listed under clause 11.7.1 of the KEAM 2026 prospectus. Both sets of documents have to be produced before the college authorities at the time of admission.
Since the exact document list under clause 11.7.1 is detailed separately in the prospectus, keep that document checklist ready well before your joining date — colleges can refuse admission if any required document is missing.
Fee payment: Government vs Self-Financing colleges
The fee process differs depending on where you have been allotted a seat.
For Self-Financing colleges, there is an important catch: the official fee for 2026-27 has not yet been fixed. You must provisionally pay the fee that applied in 2025-26. If the Admission Supervisory Committee, Government, or the Hon'ble High Court later fixes a higher fee for 2026-27, you will have to pay the balance amount afterwards.
- Government Medical/Dental college seat: Pay the fee shown in your allotment memo to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, through Online Payment only.
- Self-Financing Medical/Dental college seat: Pay the fee shown in your allotment memo directly to the college.
- Self-Financing college fee for 2026-27 is not finalised yet — pay the 2025-26 fee provisionally and be ready to pay a balance later if the new fee is higher.
Who is exempt from the token deposit — and the important exception
Certain categories of candidates do not need to pay the token deposit to CEE at this stage: SC, ST, OEC (Other Eligible Community) candidates, Children of Fishermen, and other communities entitled to the same educational concession as OEC under G.O. (MS) 25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20.06.2005 and G.O. (MS) 10/2014/BCDD dated 23.05.2014, and candidates from Sree Chitra Home, Juvenile Home, and Nirbhaya Home.
⚠️ Trap to note: this exemption does NOT apply if you are allotted a seat under the Minority quota in a Self-Financing college. In that case, you must pay the full fee shown in your allotment memo — no fee concession is available for Minority-quota seats in self-financing colleges, even if you belong to one of the exempted categories above.
If your category is still under legal or KIRTADS verification
Some candidates have been allotted seats provisionally, either because of an interim court order or because their category claim is still pending verification by KIRTADS (the Kerala Institute for Research, Training and Development Studies of SC/STs, which verifies ST community certificates).
If you are in this situation, your allotment remains provisional and subject to the final court judgment or the final KIRTADS verification result. Your seat could be affected later depending on that outcome, so keep track of your case status.
Joining deadline and what happens if you miss it
You must join your allotted college between 29 August 2026 and 5 September 2026, up to 4:00 PM. This is a hard deadline.
⚠️ If you do not join within this window, you lose the seat you were allotted, and you also lose all higher-preference options you had listed above this allotment in the same stream. In other words, missing the deadline doesn't just cost you this seat — it removes your chance of getting any better option you were still waiting for.
The registration fee is treated as a non-refundable penalty in two situations: if you do not join within the stipulated time after getting an allotment, or if you take admission and later quit the seat.
What comes next: second phase
CEE will announce the schedule for the second phase of centralised allotment separately, at a later date.
