Unlock My College ListWhat is the QUIT and Seat Cancellation List?
The QUIT list shows the names and details of candidates who have voluntarily withdrawn from their allotted seats in Round 3. When a candidate quits, their seat becomes available for reallotment in the next round.
The seat cancellation list shows seats that KEA has cancelled — usually because a candidate did not report to the college, did not submit required documents, or did not pay the admission fee by the deadline. These cancelled seats also become available for reallotment.
Together, these lists determine how many new seats will be available in Round 4 counselling. If you did not get a seat in Round 3, or if you got a seat you do not want, this list affects your chances in the next round.
Why This Matters to You
If you were allotted a seat in Round 3, check this list to confirm your seat is still active. If your name appears on the QUIT list, it means your withdrawal has been processed. If your seat appears on the cancellation list, it means you have lost your seat — you will need to participate in Round 4 if you wish to continue.

If you were NOT allotted a seat in Round 3, the QUIT and cancellation list tells you how many seats will be available for Round 4. More QUITs and cancellations mean more seats for the next round, which improves your chances.
Do not ignore this list. Candidates who do not check their seat status after each round often miss important deadlines for reporting to college or paying fees, which can result in seat cancellation.

If you quit in Round 3, you will NOT be eligible for Round 4 — your withdrawal is final. If your seat was cancelled, you will be eligible to participate in Round 4 if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Watch the KEA portal closely for the Round 4 notification, which will include the new merit list, seat matrix, and registration dates.
Important: Do Not Ignore Your Seat Status
If you were allotted a seat in Round 3 and your name does NOT appear on the QUIT or cancellation list, your seat is still yours — but only if you have completed all required steps: reported to the college, submitted all documents, and paid the admission fee by the deadline set by your college.
If you have not yet reported or paid fees, contact your allotted college immediately. Failure to do so will result in your seat being cancelled, and you will lose your place.
If you intentionally quit in Round 3 but now regret it, you cannot rejoin — your withdrawal is permanent. Plan carefully before quitting.

See My CollegesFrequently asked questions
What does QUIT mean in the context of NEET UG counselling?
QUIT means a candidate has voluntarily withdrawn from their allotted seat. Once a candidate quits, they cannot rejoin that round or any subsequent round — their withdrawal is permanent. The seat becomes available for reallotment to other candidates.
If my name is on the QUIT list, can I participate in Round 4?
No. If you quit in Round 3, you are not eligible for Round 4 or any future round. Your withdrawal is final. You can only participate in counselling again in the next admission cycle.
What is the difference between QUIT and seat cancellation?
QUIT is voluntary — you choose to withdraw. Seat cancellation is involuntary — KEA cancels your seat because you did not report to college, did not submit documents, or did not pay fees by the deadline. Both result in the seat becoming available for reallotment, but only cancelled-seat candidates can participate in Round 4.
If my seat was cancelled, can I participate in Round 4?
Yes. If your seat was cancelled (not quit), you are eligible to participate in Round 4 if you meet the eligibility criteria. You will be included in the Round 4 merit list and can be allotted a new seat.
How do I check if my seat is still active after Round 3?
Log in to the KEA portal with your NEET registration number and password, then click on the Round 3 QUIT and seat cancellation link. Search for your name or registration number. If your name does not appear on either list, your seat is still active.
What should I do if my seat was cancelled?
First, contact your allotted college to understand why your seat was cancelled — usually it is because you did not report, did not submit documents, or did not pay fees. Then, prepare to participate in Round 4. Watch the KEA portal for the Round 4 notification and register on time.
If I was allotted a seat in Round 3 and my name is not on the QUIT or cancellation list, am I guaranteed a seat?
Your seat is yours only if you have completed all required steps: reported to the college, submitted all documents, and paid the admission fee by the deadline. If you have not done these, contact your college immediately — failure to complete these steps will result in seat cancellation.
When will Round 4 counselling begin?
The exact dates for Round 4 will be announced by KEA on the official portal after the Round 3 QUIT and cancellation list is finalized. Watch the portal closely for the Round 4 notification.
Can I quit my seat in Round 3 and then rejoin in Round 4?
No. If you quit, your withdrawal is permanent and final. You cannot participate in Round 4 or any future round in this admission cycle. Think carefully before quitting.
Where do I find the official QUIT and seat cancellation list?
