Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (the authority running Haryana's NEET UG counselling) has released the document verification schedule for Round-3 MBBS and BDS admissions for 2026–27. If you were allotted or upgraded to a seat in Round-3 and have already deposited the provisional tuition fee online, you must appear in person on 15 or 16 October 2026 with your original documents. This is a mandatory step — missing it or arriving without documents will result in your candidature being rejected and your seat cancelled. The notice also specifies which category certificates you must bring and the exact reporting times for each category.
If you were allotted or upgraded a seat in Round-3, deposit your provisional fee by 14 October 8 PM, then appear for document verification on 15–16 October with all original documents at the time your category is called — no exceptions.

Unlock My College ListWhat is this notice about?
This is the official schedule for physical document verification in Round-3 of Haryana's NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS courses. Document verification is the step after seat allotment where the university checks that your original documents match what you submitted in your application. It is mandatory — you cannot join a medical college without clearing this verification.
The notice tells you the exact dates, times, and venue where you must appear, which documents to bring, and critical deadlines for fee payment. It also clarifies which candidates must appear and which do not. This is not optional; if you skip it or arrive late, your seat will be cancelled.
Important dates: when to pay fees and when to report
You have a very tight timeline. The provisional tuition fee must be deposited online through the admission web portal between 12 October 2026 and 14 October 2026 by 8:00 PM. If you do not pay by this deadline, you will not be allowed to appear for document verification, and your seat will be forfeited.
Document verification itself happens on two days: 15 October 2026 and 16 October 2026. Your reporting time depends on your allocated category (see the schedule below). You must arrive at your assigned time — no reporting is allowed after 2:00 PM on either day. After document verification, you have until 17 October 2026 at 4:00 PM to report to your allotted college.
- Provisional fee deposit: 12–14 October 2026 (by 8:00 PM)
- Document verification: 15–16 October 2026 (category-wise schedule below)
- Last reporting date at college: 17 October 2026 (by 4:00 PM)
| Date | Category | Reporting Time |
|---|---|---|
| 15 October 2026 | PWBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) / ESM (Ex-Serviceman) / FF (Freedom Fighter) | 09:00 AM |
| 15 October 2026 | EWS (Economically Weaker Section) | 09:00 AM |
| 15 October 2026 | BCA (Backward Class A) | 09:00 AM |
| 15 October 2026 | BCB (Backward Class B) | 09:00 AM |
| 15 October 2026 | OSC (Other State Candidate) / SC-D (Scheduled Caste – Dalit) / Minority | 10:00 AM |
| 15 October 2026 | NRI (Non-Resident Indian) | 12:00 NOON |
| 15 October 2026 | OPEN (General / Unreserved) | 01:00 PM |
| 16 October 2026 | MANAGEMENT (Management Quota) | 09:00 AM |
Who must appear for document verification?
You must appear if you fall into one of these two groups: (1) you were allotted a seat in Round-3 and have successfully deposited the applicable provisional tuition fee, or (2) you were upgraded to a better seat in Round-3 and have successfully deposited the applicable provisional tuition fee.
However, there is one important exception: if your seat did not change in Round-3 (meaning you kept the same college, course, and category as in Round-2), you do NOT need to appear. The notice explicitly states: 'The candidates with NO CHANGE (College/Course/Category) of seats in Round-3 do not need to appear before the admission committee.' Check your allotment letter carefully to see if your seat changed.
- Allotted a new seat in Round-3 + deposited provisional fee → must appear
- Upgraded to a better seat in Round-3 + deposited provisional fee → must appear
- No change in seat (same college, course, category) → do NOT appear

Documents you must bring: the critical list
The notice refers you to two earlier public notices (UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/7949 dated 28.08.2026 and UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/8200 dated 09.09.2026) for the complete list of documents required. You must check those notices on the portal and prepare all documents listed there. The notice does not repeat the full list, so do not assume you know what is needed — visit https://uhsrugcounselling.com and download those two notices immediately.
In addition to the general document list, the notice specifies three critical category-specific documents that you must bring. These are described in detail in the next sections. If you belong to BCA, BCB, or any reserved category (OSC, SC-D, ESM, FF, EWS, PWBD), pay special attention to the certificate requirements — bringing the wrong certificate or an outdated one is a common reason for rejection.
- Refer to notices UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/7949 (28.08.2026) and UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/8200 (09.09.2026) for the full document list
- Download these notices from https://uhsrugcounselling.com immediately
- Bring all original documents — photocopies are not accepted
- Appear in person; failing to do so will result in rejection
⚠️ TRAP: BCA and BCB candidates — non-creamy layer certificate
If you are a BCA (Backward Class A) or BCB (Backward Class B) candidate, you must bring your non-creamy layer certificate. This certificate proves that your family income is below the creamy layer threshold set by the Government of Haryana. Without it, you will not be admitted under the BCA or BCB quota.
The certificate must be issued as per the Government of Haryana notification dated 16.07.2024 and must have been issued on or after 01.04.2026. This is crucial: if your certificate is dated before 01.04.2026, it will not be accepted. Many candidates bring old certificates and are rejected at the last moment. Check the issue date on your certificate now — if it is before 01.04.2026, apply for a fresh one immediately from your district administration.
- BCA/BCB candidates: non-creamy layer certificate is mandatory
- Certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2026 (not before)
- Issued as per Government of Haryana notification dated 16.07.2024
- Bring the original; a photocopy will not be accepted
⚠️ TRAP: Reserved category candidates — caste/category certificate
If you are in any of these categories — OSC (Other State Candidate), SC-D (Scheduled Caste – Dalit), ESM (Ex-Serviceman), FF (Freedom Fighter), EWS (Economically Weaker Section), or PWBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) — you must bring your latest caste or category certificate.
The certificate must be issued as per the Government of Haryana notification dated 27.08.2026 and any subsequent public notices issued by the state. The word 'latest' is important: if you have an old certificate, it may not be accepted. Check the issue date and the format of your certificate against the Haryana government's latest guidelines. If in doubt, obtain a fresh certificate from your district administration before 15 October.
- OSC, SC-D, ESM, FF, EWS, PWBD candidates: latest caste/category certificate is mandatory
- Certificate must comply with Government of Haryana notification dated 27.08.2026
- Bring the original; a photocopy will not be accepted
- If your certificate is old, obtain a fresh one before 15 October

What happens during document verification?
During document verification, the admission committee will check your original documents against the information in your application. They will verify your identity, educational qualifications, category certificates, and any other documents you submitted. This is a routine but essential step to prevent fraud and ensure that only eligible candidates are admitted.
You must appear in person. The notice explicitly states: 'The candidates should appear in person along with their relevant original documents, failing which, their candidature will not be considered.' This means no proxy, no representative, no exceptions. If you are unable to attend due to a genuine emergency (illness, accident), contact the admission committee immediately — do not simply skip it.
- Appear in person; no proxy or representative is allowed
- Bring all original documents listed in the earlier notices
- The committee will verify your identity and qualifications
- If you cannot attend, contact the admission committee before the date
After document verification: reporting to your college
Once your documents are verified and approved, you will be issued a verification certificate or confirmation. You must then report to your allotted college by 17 October 2026 at 4:00 PM. This is the final deadline for joining. If you do not report to your college by this date and time, your seat will be cancelled, and you will lose your admission.
When you report to your college, bring your verification certificate, your allotment letter, and any other documents the college asks for. The college will complete your final admission formalities, collect your original documents for their records, and issue you a formal admission letter. Do not delay — 17 October at 4:00 PM is the absolute last moment.
- Report to your allotted college by 17 October 2026 at 4:00 PM
- Bring your verification certificate and allotment letter
- Complete final admission formalities at the college
