What is the Provisional SEBC Merit List?

The Provisional SEBC Merit List is the official ranking of all SEBC-category candidates who have qualified for NEET-PG 2026 and are eligible to participate in Round 1 counselling for MD and MS postgraduate medical courses in Gujarat. Your position on this list determines the order in which you will be offered seats during the choice-filling and allotment process.

The word 'provisional' means this list is not yet final. ACPPGMEC will accept objections, corrections, and clarifications from candidates for a specified period. After reviewing all objections, the authority will publish the final merit list. It is therefore critical that you check your details now and raise any discrepancies immediately.

Who Should Check This List?

This list is for candidates who have been allotted the SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Class) category in their NEET-PG 2026 registration. If you registered under SEBC and your application was accepted, your name and rank should appear on this list.

If you are registered under a different category (General, OBC, SC, ST, or any other), you will not appear on the SEBC merit list. Check the merit list corresponding to your registered category instead.

How to Check Your Name and Rank

Visit the official ACPPGMEC Gujarat portal at http://medadmgujarat.ncode.in/web/PG2026/MDMS/MERIT/R1/merit_mdms_se_r1.pdf or the main admission portal. The merit list is a searchable PDF or online table. You can search by your registration number, roll number, or name to locate your entry.

Once you find your entry, note your merit rank, your NEET-PG score, your category confirmation, and the courses you are eligible for. Cross-check that all personal details — name, date of birth, category, qualification — are correct.

What If Your Details Are Wrong or You Are Missing?

If you find an error in your name, date of birth, category, NEET-PG score, or any other detail on the provisional merit list, or if you believe you should be on the list but are not, you must raise an objection immediately. ACPPGMEC will have a specified window (usually a few days) during which objections are accepted.

Submit your objection through the official portal with supporting documents (your NEET-PG admit card, registration confirmation, category certificate, or other relevant proof). Do not wait — objections raised after the deadline will not be considered, and you may lose your seat opportunity.

After the objection window closes, ACPPGMEC will review all objections and publish the Final SEBC Merit List. This final list will be used for choice-filling and seat allotment in Round 1. Candidates will then be invited to log in to the portal, fill their course and college choices in order of preference, and submit their choices by the announced deadline.

Once all choices are submitted, the authority will run the allotment algorithm and publish the Round 1 Allotment Result, which will show which seat (college and course) has been allotted to you based on your merit rank and your choices.

Important: This Is Round 1 Only

This merit list and the subsequent allotment are for Round 1 of NEET-PG 2026 counselling. If you do not get a seat in Round 1, or if you do not accept your allotted seat, you may be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds (Round 2, mop-up, or stray vacancy rounds), depending on ACPPGMEC's counselling schedule and your choices.

Keep checking the official portal for announcements about the next round's merit list, choice-filling dates, and allotment results.

Key Dates to Remember

Although the specific dates for objection submission, final list publication, choice-filling, and allotment are not stated in this notice, ACPPGMEC will announce them separately. Check the official portal regularly for these dates. Missing a deadline can result in loss of your seat opportunity.

Frequently asked questions

What does 'Provisional' mean in the merit list?

Provisional means the list is not yet final. ACPPGMEC will accept objections and corrections from candidates for a set period. After reviewing all objections, the authority will publish the Final Merit List. You must check your details now and raise any errors immediately.

How do I find my name on the SEBC merit list?

Visit the official ACPPGMEC portal at http://medadmgujarat.ncode.in/web/PG2026/MDMS/MERIT/R1/merit_mdms_se_r1.pdf. Search using your registration number, roll number, or name. The list is searchable and will show your rank, score, and eligibility.

I am registered under a different category. Will I appear on this SEBC list?

No. This list is only for candidates registered under the SEBC category. If you are General, OBC, SC, ST, or another category, check the merit list for your category instead.

What should I do if my name is not on the provisional merit list?

If you registered under SEBC and your application was accepted but your name does not appear, raise an objection immediately through the official portal with supporting documents (NEET-PG admit card, registration confirmation, category certificate). Objections must be submitted within the announced deadline.

What if I find an error in my details on the list?

Submit an objection immediately through the official portal with proof of the correct information. Common errors include wrong name spelling, incorrect date of birth, or wrong category. Do not ignore errors — they can affect your seat allotment.

When will the Final SEBC Merit List be published?

The notice does not specify the exact date. ACPPGMEC will announce the final list publication date separately. Check the official portal regularly for updates.

What happens after the Final Merit List is published?

Candidates will be invited to fill their course and college choices in order of preference. After the choice-filling deadline, ACPPGMEC will run the allotment algorithm and publish the Round 1 Allotment Result showing which seat has been allotted to you.

Is this the only round of counselling?

No. This is Round 1. If you do not get a seat in Round 1 or do not accept your allotted seat, you may be eligible for subsequent rounds (Round 2, mop-up, stray vacancy) depending on ACPPGMEC's schedule.

What is my merit rank used for?

Your merit rank determines the order in which you will be offered seats during choice-filling and allotment. A higher rank (lower number) means you will get to choose your preferred college and course before candidates with lower ranks.

Where do I submit objections to the provisional merit list?

Objections are submitted through the official ACPPGMEC portal. The exact link and process will be announced by ACPPGMEC. You must submit objections within the announced deadline with supporting documents.

Check the Provisional SEBC Merit List immediately at http://medadmgujarat.ncode.in/web/PG2026/MDMS/MERIT/R1/merit_mdms_se_r1.pdf. Verify your name, rank, and all details. If you find any error or believe you should be on the list but are not, raise an objection through the official portal without delay. Watch the ACPPGMEC portal for announcements of the objection deadline, final list publication date, and choice-filling schedule.
