Critical Traps: What Gets Applications Rejected

**⚠️ Internship Completion Date:** The most common rejection reason is not completing your compulsory rotating internship by 31 July 2026. This is a hard deadline set by the National Medical Commission. If you have not completed your internship by this date, you will be ineligible for admission, regardless of your NEET score. Check the NMC website (https://www.nmc.org.in/) for any modifications to this date.

**⚠️ Category Certificates with Wrong Issue Dates:** EWS and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificates must be issued on or after 01.04.2026 for the financial year 2026-27. If your certificate is dated before 01.04.2026 or is for a previous financial year, it will be rejected. Do not submit old certificates.

**⚠️ No Modifications After Payment:** Once you pay the registration fee and submit your application on https://fmsc.du.ac.in/, you cannot make any changes, corrections, additions, or deletions. Fill your form carefully before clicking 'Make Payment'. If you submit incorrect information, your admission may be cancelled and fees will not be refunded.

**⚠️ Ineligible Registration:** If you register on https://fmsc.du.ac.in/ but have not been allotted a seat by MCC or are otherwise ineligible, your registration will be invalid and no fees will be refunded. Only candidates allotted seats in Delhi University-affiliated colleges should register.

**⚠️ Fraudulent Information:** If any information you provide is found to be fraudulent, incorrect, or untrue at any stage during admission, course, or after completion, you will be liable to criminal prosecution, disqualification, and your admission will be rendered invalid without notice.

**⚠️ Medical Fitness:** You must pass the medical examination conducted by the assigned institution. If you are found medically unfit, your admission will be cancelled and you will not be allowed to join the course.

**⚠️ Surety Bond and Seat Surrender:** You must execute a surety bond worth ₹10 lacs with two sureties at admission. If you surrender your seat in violation of MCC rules after joining, leave the course before completion, or have your admission cancelled due to poor performance/misconduct, you will forfeit the ₹10 lacs bond money. If you are allotted a seat in the last counselling round, you have no right to surrender it; if you do, you will be debarred from admission in subsequent counselling.

No candidate will be allowed to join unless they have been relieved or sanctioned study leave.
