Can I apply for NEET-PG 2026 if I did my MBBS from outside Delhi University?
Yes, you can apply under the All India Quota (AIQ) if you have passed the final MBBS examination from any recognized institution or university in India. However, if you want to apply under the Delhi University Quota (DUQ), you must have passed your final MBBS from the University of Delhi specifically.
What happens if I provide false information in my admission application?
If any information furnished by you is found to be fraudulent, incorrect, or untrue at any time during admission, course, or after completion, you will be liable to criminal prosecution. It will entail disqualification and render you unfit for admission without any notice. The University reserves the right to cancel your admission and take legal action against you.
Can I make changes to my application after paying the registration fee?
No. Once you make payment for the registration form, no corrections, additions, deletions, or changes of any kind are allowed. You are therefore advised to fill your form very carefully and verify all details before clicking 'Make Payment.' Review your information thoroughly before proceeding to payment.
What is the bond money requirement, and when do I have to pay it?
You must execute a surety bond worth ₹10 lacs with two sureties at the time of admission. The bond is mandatory, and your admission will not be valid unless the bond is executed. You will have to pay the bond money (₹10 lacs) to the Institution/University if you surrender your seat after joining, leave the course before completion, or if your admission is cancelled due to unsatisfactory performance, misconduct, or indiscipline.

The annual fee of ₹19,500 must be paid by 2nd and 3rd year postgraduate students within the first month of the starting of the respective academic session (2nd & 3rd year), as notified by the NMC. What is the difference between Delhi University Quota (DUQ) and All India Quota (AIQ)?
DUQ (50% seats) is for candidates who passed their final MBBS from the University of Delhi. AIQ (50% seats) is for candidates who passed their final MBBS from any recognized institution in India. Both quotas are filled through online counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Unfilled DUQ seats after three counselling rounds are offered to AIQ candidates in the stray vacancy round.
If I am in service, what NOC do I need to submit?
If you are employed, you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer confirming that they have no objection and that you will be relieved or granted study leave for pursuing the course. No candidate is allowed to join unless they have been relieved or sanctioned study leave from their employer.
What happens if I am found medically unfit after joining?
If you are found medically unfit by the medical board at your assigned institution, you will not be allowed to join the course and your admission will be cancelled. You may then collect your original certificates from the college/institute. Candidates selected in the last counselling round will be allowed to join provisionally by the date specified by MCC, but medical fitness is still required.
Can I surrender my seat after joining the course?
If you surrender your seat in violation of MCC rules/instructions after joining the allotted institution, you will have to pay the bond money of ₹10 lacs to the Institution/University. However, if the MCC confirms that your surrendered seat was utilized in a subsequent round of counselling, the bond money will not be forfeited.
