How to Check Your Name
Visit the official DME Assam website at dme.assam.gov.in. Look for the link to the 2nd round counselling select list or admission notice. Download the PDF or access the online portal where the list is hosted.
Search for your name, roll number, or application ID in the list. The list is typically arranged by merit rank or category. If you cannot find your name easily, use your browser's search function (Ctrl+F on Windows, Cmd+F on Mac) to search for your roll number or name.
What to Do If Your Name Is on the List
If you have been allotted a seat, note down your allotted college, course, and seat category carefully. DME Assam will issue further instructions on the next steps — typically these include document verification, fee payment, and physical reporting at your allotted college.
Check the DME Assam website and your registered email/SMS for any announcements about reporting dates, document requirements, and the deadline to accept or reject your seat. Do not miss these deadlines, as failure to report or pay fees on time may result in forfeiture of your seat.

What to Do If Your Name Is NOT on the List
If your name does not appear on the 2nd round select list, it means you were not allotted a seat in this round. This does not mean your counselling is over — DME Assam typically conducts additional rounds (3rd round, mop-up round, etc.) to fill remaining seats.
Keep checking the DME Assam website for announcements about the next counselling round. You will be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds if seats remain unfilled. Ensure your contact details are up to date so you receive notifications about future rounds.
Important Reminders
This is the official select list published by DME Assam. Do not rely on unofficial sources, social media, or third-party websites for confirmation. Always verify information directly from dme.assam.gov.in.
