This is Phase-I — the first round of counselling. If you join a college in Phase-I, you can later apply to upgrade to a better-ranked college in Phase-II or Phase-III (Mop Up). If you do not join in Phase-I, you cannot apply for the same college again in later phases. This makes your Phase-I choice very important.
Exercising web options does NOT guarantee you a seat. It only registers your preferences. Your final allotment depends on your merit rank, the number of seats available, and how many other candidates have ranked the same colleges ahead of you.
Who Is Eligible to Exercise Web Options
You are eligible if and only if your name appears in the Final Merit List displayed by NTRUHS on 29 August 2026. If your name is not on that list, you cannot participate in Phase-I counselling.

Which Colleges Can You Choose From
The available colleges are government and private unaided dental colleges in Andhra Pradesh affiliated to Dr. NTR University. They are divided into two regions: AU (Andhra University) Region and SVU (Sri Venkateswara University) Region. The total number of colleges you can rank depends on your category.
Non-minority candidates can rank up to 16 colleges. Muslim minority candidates can rank up to 17 colleges (they have access to one additional minority college, Nimra Institute of Dental Sciences, Ibrahimpatnam, in the AU region).

How to Exercise Web Options: Step-by-Step
Log in to the official counselling portal using your registration number and password. The portal will send you an OTP to your registered mobile and email. Enter this OTP to proceed. Do not share your login details or OTP with anyone — you are fully responsible for any options exercised from your account.
Once logged in, you will see a list of all eligible colleges. Rank them in order of your preference. Special Category Seats (PwBD, PMC, CAP, Scouts & Guides)
If you are eligible for a special category seat (Persons with Benchmark Disability, Post-Matric Coaching, Creamy Layer Applicants, or Scouts & Guides), you must still exercise web options for all colleges you wish to consider. The system will automatically check which colleges have special category seats available and allocate you to one if your rank qualifies.
Before you submit your options, check the area-wise seat matrix on the university website to see which colleges have special category seats available. This will help you make informed choices. Special category seats will be filled in Phase-I counselling, except for NCC and Sports & Games seats, which will be filled after the university receives the final list of eligible candidates from the relevant departments.

Critical Rules: What Will Get Your Seat Cancelled
