Puducherry's Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has published the Round 2 Draft Allotment List for NEET UG 2026 on 12 September 2026. What is the Round 2 Draft Allotment List?

The Round 2 Draft Allotment List is a preliminary list of seat allocations published by CENTAC after the second round of counselling. It shows which candidates have been provisionally assigned to which courses and colleges based on their NEET rank, category, quota, and choices. The list covers MBBS, BDS, BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), and BVSc&AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) courses.

This is NOT a final allotment. The notice explicitly states that the draft list is 'only indicative in nature and subject to change.' Candidates cannot claim any legal right over the allotted seat based on this draft list, and the draft list cannot be challenged in court. Courses and Quotas Covered in Round 2

Round 2 allotments cover four professional courses: MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), and BVSc&AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry). Important: Seats Withheld or Reserved Pending Court Orders

Out of the 429 MBBS Government Quota seats, 5 seats have been withheld pending the outcome of a Writ Appeal (W.A. No. 2674 of 2026) in the Hon'ble Madras High Court, and 1 seat has been reserved pending the outcome of a Writ Petition (W.P. No. 36623 of 2026) in the same court. This means these 6 seats are not being allotted in Round 2 until the court decides the matter. If you were expecting to be allotted one of these seats, you will not see it in the draft list. The final status of these seats will be determined after the court's decision.

This is a legal hold and not an error in your allotment. Do not raise an objection about these seats — they will be handled separately once the court order is received.

Who Has Been Removed from the Draft List?

Candidates who were allotted seats in JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) under the 'Internal-Puducherry U.T. Domicile' category in Round 2 of the MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) national counselling, and who did NOT furnish willingness to participate in CENTAC counselling, have been removed from the CENTAC Round 2 Draft Allotment List.

This means if you accepted a JIPMER seat in the national counselling and chose not to participate in Puducherry's CENTAC counselling, you will not appear in this draft list. You are already allotted a seat at JIPMER and do not need to participate in CENTAC's process. If you believe you should be in the CENTAC list, contact the helpline immediately.

How to Check Your Draft Allotment Status

To check whether you have been allotted a seat in Round 2, you must log into the CENTAC dashboard using your login credentials (usually your registration number and password from the counselling registration). Once logged in, navigate to your dashboard and look for your allotment status. The dashboard will show you the course, college, and quota category you have been allotted, if any.

If you do not see an allotment, it means either you were not eligible for Round 2, your choices did not match available seats, or you did not meet the cutoff for any of your preferred colleges. You may still be eligible for Round 3 or subsequent rounds if they are conducted.

Raising Objections: Deadline and Process

What Happens After You Submit an Objection?

Important: Draft Allotment Does NOT Give You a Legal Right to the Seat
