Odisha NEET UG 2026: 2nd Revised 1st Round Counselling Schedule (State Quota)

Choice filling: what you must do and when

Choice filling is the process where you rank the colleges and courses (MBBS or BDS) you are willing to accept. This is your chance to tell OJEE your preferences — the allotment algorithm will use your choices to assign you a seat.

The choice filling window opens on 14 August 2026 at 8:30 PM and closes on 22 August 2026 at 5:00 PM. You must log in to your OJEE account using your registration credentials and fill your choices during this window. If you have already filled your choices, you can still log in and change them until 5:00 PM on 22 August.

After 5:00 PM on 22 August, the choice filling portal will close. At 11:30 AM on the same day (22 August), the choice locking activity begins — this means you can no longer edit your choices. How the allotment process works

After choice filling closes on 22 August, OJEE will process your application through several steps. On 23 August, the system will reconcile (check and verify) all the data you submitted. State quota vs. All India Quota: which one applies to you?

Common mistakes that can cost you your seat
