How to Read the Cutoff Table
Each row represents one seat category at one college. For example, a row might show: Gandhi Medical College Bhopal, MBBS, UR/X/OP (Unreserved, General, Open), opening rank 5388, closing rank 15360, opening score 618, closing score 586, 27 seats allotted.
**Opening AI Rank** is the best (lowest number) rank that received a seat in that category. **Closing AI Rank** is the worst (highest number) rank that received a seat. If your rank falls between these two numbers (inclusive), you were eligible for allotment in that category at that college.
**Opening NEET Score** and **Closing NEET Score** show the same information by score instead of rank. Scores typically decrease as ranks worsen, so the opening score is higher than the closing score.
**Total Allotted** is the number of seats filled in that category. **MP Domicile Status** shows YES if the college requires you to be an MP resident; **Need to Report Status** shows YES if you must report in person to confirm your seat (if it says NO, you may have been allotted but do not need to physically report).
Understanding Category and Class Codes
Every allotment row includes a category/class code like UR/X/OP or SC/GS/OP. This tells you which reservation category the seat belongs to.
The first part (UR, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) is the main reservation category. UR = Unreserved (General), OBC = Other Backward Class, SC = Scheduled Caste, ST = Scheduled Tribe, EWS = Economically Weaker Section.

Both MBBS and BDS seats are listed. MBBS seats are far more numerous; BDS seats appear only at Government Autonomous College of Dentistry Indore (government) and at private dental colleges.
How to Check If Your Rank Qualifies
Find the college and course (MBBS or BDS) you are interested in. Then locate the row for your category (e.g., OBC/X/OP or SC/X/OP).
Compare your All India (AI) rank with the opening and closing ranks shown. If your rank is **greater than or equal to the opening rank AND less than or equal to the closing rank**, your rank fell within the allotted range for that seat.
For example, if a row shows opening rank 5388 and closing rank 15360, and your rank is 10000, you qualify. If your rank is 5000 (better than opening) or 20000 (worse than closing), you do not qualify for that particular seat.
Remember: falling within the range does not guarantee you received that seat—it depends on your choice order during counselling, whether you locked that college, and whether higher-ranked candidates ahead of you chose it. MP Domicile Requirement
The **MP Domicile Status** column shows YES or YES for all entries in this document, meaning all colleges in the second round require candidates to be domiciled in Madhya Pradesh.
Domicile means you must have lived in MP for a specified period (usually 5 years) or have other qualifying ties to the state. If you are not an MP domicile, you would not be eligible for these seats, even if your rank falls within the cutoff range.
If you are unsure about your domicile status, check your NEET registration and counselling application. Domicile certificates are typically verified during document submission at the time of reporting.
Reporting Requirement
