What is the second phase allotment?

The second phase allotment is the result of Kerala's centralised counselling process for MBBS and BDS seats. It was published on 14 September 2026 on the CEE Kerala website (www.cee.kerala.gov.in) and is based on the online option confirmations and registrations that candidates completed by 10:00 AM on 11 September 2026.

Before publishing this final allotment, the CEE addressed all valid complaints that candidates had filed against the provisional allotment list that was published on 11 September 2026. This means the allotment you see now is the corrected, final version for this phase. A third phase of allotment will follow later, but the schedule for that has not yet been announced.

How to check your allotment details

Your allotment details are now live on your home page on the CEE Kerala website. Log in with your credentials to see your allotment information, which includes your name, roll number, the course you have been allotted (MBBS or BDS), the college name, the category under which you were allotted, and the fee details you must pay.

You must download and print your Allotment Memo from your home page immediately. This memo is your proof of allotment and contains all the documents you will need to bring when you join the college. You will also need to download the 'Data Sheet' from the menu on your home page — this contains your basic details and must be printed and presented to the college authorities at the time of admission.

Critical deadline: Join by 4:00 PM on 19 September 2026

This is the most important date in your admission process. All allotted candidates must join their allotted college between 15 September 2026 and 19 September 2026, and you must complete your joining by 4:00 PM on 19 September 2026. This is a hard deadline — there is no extension.

If you do not join within this time window, you will lose your allotment immediately. More critically, you will also lose all your higher options in the stream (MBBS or BDS) to which your allotment belongs. This means you cannot participate in any further rounds of counselling in that stream. Your registration fee will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded.

Fee payment and joining process

Candidates who receive an allotment in this phase must remit the fees as shown in their allotment memo. The exact fee amount depends on the college (government or self-financing) and the category under which you were allotted. Your allotment memo will clearly state the fee you must pay.

After paying the fee, you must physically join the college with all the documents mentioned in your allotment memo and as per prospectus clause 11.7.1. Bring your printed Allotment Memo, Data Sheet, and all other documents listed in the memo. Do not delay — the joining window is only 5 days (15–19 September), and you must complete the process by 4:00 PM on the final day.

Fee concessions: SC/ST/OEC category and special homes

If you have been allotted under the SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), or OEC (Other Eligible Community) category, you are eligible for fee concessions as per Government Orders G.O.(MS)25/2005/SCSTDD dated 20 June 2005 and G.O.(MS)10/2014/BCDD dated 23 May 2014. This means you do not have to pay the token (registration) fee.

Candidates from Sree Chitra Home, Juvenile Home, or Nirbhaya Home also do not have to pay the token fee. However, there is an important exception: if you are allotted a seat under the Minority or NRI quota in a self-financing medical or dental college, you will have to pay the full fee as shown in your allotment memo, and you will not be eligible for any fee concession.

Important trap: Provisional allotments under court orders or pending verification

Some candidates may have received a provisional allotment based on interim court orders or because their category verification through KIRTADS (the state's caste verification system) is still pending. If this applies to you, your allotment is conditional. Your category claim is subject to the final judgment of the court or the final verification result from KIRTADS.

This means your allotment could change if the court rules against you or if KIRTADS verification fails. You should still join the college as instructed, but be aware that your final status depends on these pending outcomes. If the verification fails or the court rules against you, your allotment may be cancelled and you may be asked to vacate the seat.

• If allotted with pending KIRTADS verification: your allotment is provisional pending final verification result

What happens if you do not join or quit after joining?

The notification is very clear on this point: if you do not join the college within the stipulated time (by 4:00 PM on 19 September 2026), you will lose your allotment and all your higher options in your stream. You cannot participate in any further counselling rounds in that stream.

Similarly, if you join the college, pay the fee, and then quit or withdraw your seat after taking admission, your registration fee will be treated as a penalty and will not be refunded. This is a permanent loss — you cannot get your money back. The CEE considers this a penalty for wasting a seat that could have gone to another candidate.
