Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak (the authority running NEET UG counselling for Haryana) has announced the physical document verification schedule for Round-2 of MBBS and BDS admissions for 2026–27. If you received a provisional seat allotment in Round-2 and have already paid the provisional tuition fee online, you must now appear in person on your assigned date with original documents to confirm your admission. The verification will happen across three days (17–19 September 2026) with different reporting times for each category. This is a mandatory step — if you do not appear or bring the wrong documents, your seat will be cancelled and you will lose your place.

You must appear for document verification on your category's assigned date (17–19 September 2026) with all original documents, or your provisional seat will be cancelled.

What is this document verification and why does it matter?

Document verification is the final step before your MBBS or BDS seat becomes permanent. After Round-2 counselling, you received a provisional (temporary) seat allotment and were asked to pay a provisional tuition fee online. That fee payment confirmed your interest in the seat. Now, the university must verify that all the documents you submitted during counselling are genuine and match what you claimed.

This is not optional. The notice explicitly states: 'The candidates should appear in person along with their relevant original documents, failing which, their candidature will not be considered.' If you skip this step or arrive without the right documents, your seat will be cancelled immediately, and you will not be admitted to any college.

The verification happens at Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. You must bring the actual original documents — photocopies are not accepted.

Who must appear for document verification?

You must appear if BOTH of the following are true: (1) you were allotted a seat in Round-2 (or upgraded to a better seat in Round-2), AND (2) you successfully deposited the applicable provisional tuition fee online through the admission web portal.

The notice lists two groups: candidates who were 'Allotted' a new seat in Round-2, and candidates who were 'Upgraded' (moved to a better college or course) in Round-2. Both groups must attend if they paid the fee.

There is one important exception: if your seat did not change in Round-2 — meaning you kept the same college, course, and category as in Round-1 — you do NOT need to appear. The notice states: 'The candidates with NO CHANGE (College/Course/Category) of seats in Round-2 do not need to appear before the admission committee.' Check your allotment letter carefully to see if anything changed.

  • Allotted a new seat in Round-2 AND paid provisional fee → must appear
  • Upgraded to a better seat in Round-2 AND paid provisional fee → must appear
  • No change from Round-1 to Round-2 → do NOT need to appear

Document verification dates and reporting times by category

The verification is spread across three days: 17, 18, and 19 September 2026. Each category has a specific date and reporting time. You must arrive at or before your assigned time — arriving late may result in your candidature being rejected.

The schedule is designed to manage large numbers of candidates. Do not assume you can attend on a different day or time; the notice is explicit about which category reports when. If you are unsure which category you fall under, check your allotment letter or the admission portal.

The venue for all verifications is Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. Plan your travel accordingly — arriving late is not an excuse.

Provisional fee deposit deadline

If you have not yet paid the provisional tuition fee, the last date to do so is 16 September 2026 at 5:00 PM. Payment must be made online through the admission web portal only — no other payment method is accepted.

This deadline is before your document verification date. If you miss this deadline, you will not be eligible to appear for verification, and your seat will be cancelled. Do not delay — pay as soon as possible.

The notice specifies 'applicable provisional tuition fee,' which means the amount depends on your category and the course (MBBS or BDS). Check the admission portal or your allotment letter for the exact amount you owe.

  • Last date to pay provisional fee: 16 September 2026, 5:00 PM
  • Payment method: online only, through admission web portal
  • If you miss this deadline, you cannot attend verification and will lose your seat

Documents you must bring — critical requirements

The notice refers you to two earlier public notices for the complete list of documents required: UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/7949 (dated 28 August 2026) and UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/8200 (dated 09 September 2026). You must check these notices on the admission portal (https://uhsrugcounselling.com) to know exactly what to bring. Do not guess — missing even one document can result in rejection.

However, the current notice highlights several category-specific documents that are critical traps:

For BCA and BCB candidates: You must bring a non-creamy layer (NCL) certificate issued by the Government of Haryana. The certificate must be issued on or after 1 April 2026. If your certificate is older than this date, it will not be accepted, and you will be rejected. This is a hard deadline — no exceptions.

For OSC, SC-D, ESM, FF, EWS, and PWBD candidates: You must bring the latest caste/category certificate as per Government of Haryana notification dated 27 August 2026. The notice also says 'Public Notices issued from time to time,' meaning you should check for any updates on the portal before you attend. Bring the most recent version of your certificate.

  • Check notices UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/7949 (28.08.2026) and UHSR/Acad./2026/A-III/8200 (09.09.2026) for the full document list
  • BCA/BCB candidates: non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after 01.04.2026 (older certificates will be rejected)
  • OSC/SC-D/ESM/FF/EWS/PWBD candidates: latest caste/category certificate per Haryana notification dated 27.08.2026
  • Bring original documents only — photocopies are not accepted
  • Arrive in person — no proxy or online verification is allowed

The non-creamy layer (NCL) certificate trap for BCA/BCB candidates

If you are a BCA (Backward Class A) or BCB (Backward Class B) candidate, this is the most common reason for rejection at document verification. You must bring a non-creamy layer certificate. This certificate proves that your family income is below a certain threshold set by the Government of Haryana, making you eligible for backward class reservation.

The critical trap: your certificate must be issued on or after 1 April 2026. If your certificate was issued before this date — even if it is still technically valid — it will not be accepted. The notice is explicit: 'issued on & after 01.04.2026.' This means if you obtained your NCL certificate in March 2026 or earlier, you must get a new one issued after 1 April 2026 before you attend verification.

Do not wait until the day of verification to check this. Apply for a fresh NCL certificate immediately if yours is older than 1 April 2026. Contact your local Tehsildar or the relevant government office in Haryana. This is a hard deadline — the admission committee will not make exceptions.

  • BCA/BCB candidates must bring a non-creamy layer certificate
  • Certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2026 — older certificates will be rejected
  • If your certificate is older, apply for a new one immediately
  • This is a common reason for rejection — do not overlook it

Caste/category certificate requirements for reserved categories

If you are in any of these categories — OSC (Other State Category), SC-D (Scheduled Caste – Dependent), ESM (Ex-Servicemen), FF (Freedom Fighter), EWS (Economically Weaker Section), or PWBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) — you must bring your latest caste or category certificate.

The notice specifies that your certificate must comply with the Government of Haryana notification dated 27 August 2026. It also says 'Public Notices issued from time to time,' which means the rules may have been updated after that date. Before you attend verification, log into the admission portal and check for any new notices or updates about category certificates. Bring the most recent version of your certificate.

The certificate must be an original document issued by the competent authority (usually the District Magistrate or Tehsildar in your district). Photocopies or self-attested copies will not be accepted.

  • OSC, SC-D, ESM, FF, EWS, PWBD candidates must bring latest caste/category certificate
  • Certificate must comply with Haryana notification dated 27.08.2026
  • Check the admission portal for any updates before attending
  • Bring the original certificate only

Last date to report at your allotted college

After you complete document verification at the university, you must report to your allotted college. The last date to do this is 20 September 2026 at 4:00 PM. This is a hard deadline — if you do not report to your college by this date and time, your admission may be cancelled.

Document verification at the university is not the same as reporting to your college. You must do both. After verification, the university will issue you a verification certificate or confirmation. Take this to your allotted college and complete the final admission formalities (fee payment, hostel registration, etc.) by 4:00 PM on 20 September 2026.

If you are unsure which college you are allotted to, check your allotment letter or the admission portal. Contact your college directly if you have questions about their reporting process or location.

  • Last date to report at your allotted college: 20 September 2026, 4:00 PM
  • Bring your document verification certificate from the university
  • Complete all final admission formalities at the college
  • Missing this deadline may result in cancellation of your admission

What happens if you do not appear or bring wrong documents?

The notice is clear: 'The candidates should appear in person along with their relevant original documents, failing which, their candidature will not be considered.' This means if you do not show up on your assigned date and time, or if you arrive without the required documents, your candidature will be rejected immediately.

There are no second chances or makeup dates mentioned in this notice. If you miss your slot, your provisional seat allotment is cancelled, and you will not be admitted to any college. You will lose your place in the counselling process.

Common reasons for rejection include: (1) arriving late or on the wrong date, (2) bringing photocopies instead of originals, (3) missing category certificates or NCL certificates, (4) bringing certificates issued before the required date (e.g., NCL certificate before 01.04.2026), (5) not bringing all documents listed in the earlier notices, and (6) not appearing in person (sending someone else in your place).

  • Non-appearance = candidature rejected, seat cancelled
  • Wrong or missing documents = candidature rejected, seat cancelled
  • No makeup dates or second chances mentioned
  • You must appear in person — no proxy allowed
  • Bring all original documents — photocopies not accepted
