Note that the deadlines are strict. Online systems typically close at the exact time stated — 11:59 pm means 23:59 hours, and 10:00 pm means 22:00 hours. Do not wait until the last minute; submit well before the deadline to avoid technical issues or network delays.

Step-by-Step: How to Register and Apply for Round-2

If you have not yet registered for Round-2, you must do so immediately. Registration and application submission are done online on the BCECEB website (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in). You have until 17 September 2026, 11:59 pm.

The process involves three parts: (1) online registration, (2) submission of the application form, and (3) payment. You must complete all three to be eligible for Round-2 seat allotment.

Choice Filling: How to Select Your Colleges

After your application is submitted and accepted, you will be able to fill your college choices. This is done on the same BCECEB portal. You can edit your choices until 20 September 2026, 11:59 pm.

The new colleges (K. K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir, and the 50 extra seats at Himalaya Medical College & Hospital, Paliganj) will appear in the list of available colleges. You can now include them in your preference list.

The order in which you list your choices matters. The allotment algorithm will try to give you your highest-ranked preference first. So rank colleges in the order you prefer them — most preferred first.

Once you have finalized your choices, you must 'lock' them by 20 September 2026, 11:59 pm. After locking, you cannot edit your choices. The Rank Card will be published on 19 September 2026, which will show your merit position — use this to decide your choices wisely.

Rank Card: When It Will Be Published and What It Means

Your Rank Card will be published on 19 September 2026. This card shows your merit rank among all NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates in Bihar. Your rank determines which colleges and seats you are eligible for.

Download your Rank Card from the BCECEB portal as soon as it is published. You will need it to make informed choices about which colleges to apply for. A higher rank (lower number) gives you access to more colleges and better seats.

The Rank Card is also required during document verification and admission, so keep a printed copy with you.

Seat Allotment: When Results Will Be Published

The Round-2 Provisional Seat Allotment Result will be published on 24 September 2026. This result will show which college and seat (if any) you have been allotted based on your rank, your choices, and the availability of seats.

You will be able to download your Provisional Seat Allotment order from 24 September 2026 to 28 September 2026. This order is your proof of allotment and must be brought to document verification.

The allotment is 'provisional' — it becomes final only after you complete document verification and admission. If you do not verify your documents or do not report for admission by 28 September 2026, your seat may be cancelled and offered to the next candidate.

Document Verification and Admission: Final Steps

Document verification and admission will take place from 26 September 2026 to 28 September 2026. You must attend in person at the college to which you have been allotted.

Bring your Provisional Seat Allotment order, your NEET UG 2026 admit card, your Rank Card, and all original documents (as specified in the earlier Round-2 notification). The college will verify that your documents match your application and that you meet all eligibility criteria.

If your documents are found to be in order, you will be admitted and your seat will be confirmed. If there are discrepancies or missing documents, your admission may be rejected and your seat cancelled.

Do not miss the document verification window. If you do not attend by 28 September 2026, you will lose your seat.
