It is explicitly NOT valid for the All India Quota (AIQ) seats — the 15% of seats filled by MCC through central counselling — and it is also not valid if you want to claim PwBD reservation in any other state's quota seats.
If you plan to compete for AIQ seats as a PwBD candidate, you must get assessed at an MCC-notified centre, not through this Punjab board. Using the wrong certificate for the wrong quota can get your PwBD claim rejected at the time of admission.
Why a separate state board exists
MCC organises PwBD assessment centres centrally for candidates competing across the country, mainly for All India Quota admissions. But many candidates applying for a state's own quota seats may find it difficult to travel to these MCC-notified centres.
