The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has issued a notification allowing two groups of candidates to act between 23 July 2026 (afternoon) and 27 July 2026, 11:00 AM. First, candidates who have NOT yet applied under KEAM 2026 can now submit a fresh online application specifically for Medical & Medical Allied courses (MBBS, BDS and related courses like BSc Hons. Horticulture and Integrated Biology/Microbiology under KAU). Second, candidates who already applied under KEAM 2026 for Engineering, Architecture or Pharmacy can now add Medical & Medical Allied courses to their existing application, and can also add NRI, Minority or Category reservation claims. This is an addition window, not a fresh counselling round — for Medical & Allied courses, only candidates who have qualified NEET-UG 2026 (conducted by NTA) will be considered.
If you already have a KEAM 2026 application (for Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy), do NOT submit a new application to add MBBS/BDS — use 'Add Course' on the existing application via the Candidate Portal, or your candidature could be cancelled for filing multiple applications.
What this notification actually does
This is not a new counselling cycle — it is a short correction/addition window inside the ongoing KEAM 2026 process. It serves two separate sets of candidates differently, so read carefully which one applies to you.
- Candidates with NO existing KEAM 2026 application → can submit a brand-new online application for Medical & Medical Allied courses only.
- Candidates who ALREADY applied under KEAM 2026 for Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy → cannot file a new application; they must add Medical & Allied courses and any NRI/Category/Minority claim to their existing application.
- In both cases, for Medical & Medical Allied courses only NEET-UG 2026 qualified candidates will be considered.
Window dates
The facility is live for a short period only. Missing this window closes the door for this addition cycle.

How to submit a fresh application (if you have not applied yet)
This route is only for candidates who have never submitted a KEAM 2026 application to CEE for any course (Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy or Medical). If you already have an application, do not use this — it will be rejected.
- Go to www.cee.kerala.gov.in and use the 'KEAM 2026-Online Application' link.
- Complete the online application following the steps in Clause 7.4 of the KEAM 2026 Prospectus.
- Download and keep the Application Acknowledgement Page for your records.
- You do NOT need to send the Acknowledgement Page or any documents by post to the CEE office.
How to add a course/claim (if you already have an application)
This route is for candidates who already applied under KEAM 2026 for Engineering, Architecture or Pharmacy and now want to also be considered for MBBS/BDS/Medical Allied courses, or want to add a reservation claim.
- Log in to the 'KEAM 2026-Candidate Portal' on www.cee.kerala.gov.in using your Application Number and Password.
- Click 'Add Course' to select and add Medical & Medical Allied courses — allowed only if you have qualified NEET-UG 2026.
- Click 'Upload NRI Document' or 'Upload Category/Minority' to add NRI quota, Community/Category, EWS, or Minority quota claims.
- Do not submit a fresh application for this — use only the Candidate Portal.
Documents needed for reservation claims — no second chances
This is the biggest trap in this notice. Whether you are a fresh applicant or adding a claim to an existing application, all supporting documents for reservation or fee concession must be submitted now, along with the application/claim. CEE has explicitly stated there will be NO opportunity to submit these documents later, under any circumstances.
- Community Certificate (for caste/community-based reservation)
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate — specifically for State education purpose
- EWS Certificate (Economically Weaker Section under General Category) — specifically for State education purpose
- Income Certificate (for fee concessions)
- NRI documents (for NRI quota claims)
- Minority-status supporting documents, where applicable
Fee payment
The Application Fee or Additional Application Fee (whichever applies to your case) must be paid online only. No offline or physical payment mode is mentioned.
Important warnings from the notice
CEE has flagged two risks candidates must avoid.
- Do not file a second/fresh application if you already have one for Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy — filing multiple applications can lead to cancellation of your candidature under KEAM 2026 Prospectus rules.
- Read the Notification dated 05.01.2026 and the Government-approved KEAM 2026 Prospectus (available on www.cee.kerala.gov.in) before submitting any fresh application, course addition, or reservation claim — these documents carry the full eligibility and procedural rules.

I have not applied to KEAM 2026 at all. Can I still apply for MBBS/BDS in Kerala?
Yes. You can submit a fresh online application for Medical & Medical Allied courses between 23.07.2026 (afternoon) and 27.07.2026, 11:00 AM, provided you have qualified NEET-UG 2026.
I already applied under KEAM 2026 for Engineering. Can I now add MBBS as an option?
Yes, but you must NOT submit a new application. Log in to the KEAM 2026-Candidate Portal with your existing Application Number and Password, and use 'Add Course' to add Medical & Medical Allied courses.
What happens if I submit a fresh application even though I already applied earlier?
The notice states such a fresh application will be rejected, and filing multiple applications may lead to cancellation of your candidature under KEAM 2026 Prospectus rules.
Can I submit my Community/EWS/NRI documents after this window closes?
No. The notice clearly states there will be no opportunity to submit supporting documents later under any circumstances — they must be submitted along with the application or claim within this window.
Do I need to qualify NEET-UG 2026 to apply for Medical & Allied courses under KEAM?
Yes. For Medical & Medical Allied courses, only candidates who have qualified NEET-UG 2026 conducted by NTA will be considered.
Do I need to send my acknowledgement page or documents by post to CEE?
No. The notice specifically says candidates need not send the printout of the Acknowledgement Page or other documents to the CEE office.
How can I pay the application fee?
The Application Fee or Additional Application Fee can be paid only through online payment.
Where can I find the full eligibility and procedural rules?
Refer to the Notification dated 05.01.2026 and the Government-approved KEAM 2026 Prospectus, both available on www.cee.kerala.gov.in, before applying.
If you are eligible for this window, act now — it closes on 27.07.2026 at 11:00 AM. Gather your Community/EWS/NRI/Minority documents in advance since there is no later chance to upload them, and double-check whether you should use the fresh-application route or the Candidate Portal 'Add Course' option to avoid risking cancellation of your candidature.
