The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET UG 2026 OMR response sheets and recorded responses for the re-examination held on 21 June 2026. Scanned copies have also been sent to candidates on their registered email IDs, and the online challenge window is now open.
Read this first: this window is only for a MISMATCH between what you actually marked on your physical OMR sheet and what the scanning agency recorded (or an error in your captured details). It is NOT a window to dispute the answer key — that challenge has already closed.

How to check and challenge your OMR sheet
- Go to the official website neet.nta.nic.in (or open the scanned OMR copy emailed to your registered email ID)
- Log in with your NEET 2026 application number and password / date of birth
- Download your OMR answer sheet and your recorded responses
- Compare each question: does the response recorded by the scanner match what you actually marked on the physical OMR?
- If you find a genuine mismatch, raise a challenge against that question and pay ₹200 per response online
- Submit before 11:00 AM on 15 July 2026 and save the confirmation / receipt
What you can and cannot challenge
- CAN challenge: a difference between your physical OMR marking and the response captured by the scanning agency
- CAN challenge: an error in your captured particulars / vital data fields
- CANNOT challenge: the answer key or the correct option — that separate window is already over
- Do not raise a challenge just because you disagree with an answer — it will be rejected and the ₹200 is not refunded
Only challenge a real recording mismatch. Frivolous challenges cost ₹200 per question with no refund and no benefit — check carefully before you pay.
What happens next
