The National Testing Agency has released the NEET UG 2026 admit card on its official portal, and over 22 lakh candidates across 550-plus cities must now download it before the exam on Sunday, 21 June 2026 — just two days away. The admit card is the single most important document for exam day: no candidate is allowed into the centre without a printed copy alongside a valid photo ID. With the correction window now closed, the priority for every aspirant is to download the card, check every detail carefully, and prepare what to carry. This is a pen-and-paper (OMR) test of 720 marks covering Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and it is the single national gateway for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BVSc admissions.
How to download your NEET UG 2026 admit card
The admit card is available only through the official NTA NEET portal — do not rely on links shared on social media or messaging apps. Keep your application number and password (or date of birth) ready before you begin, as you will need them to log in.
- Open the official NEET UG website operated by the NTA (neet.nta.nic.in).
- Click the link for the NEET UG 2026 admit card on the homepage.
- Log in using your application number and password, or application number and date of birth as prompted.
- Enter the security code or captcha shown on screen and submit.
- The admit card opens on screen — review it fully before saving.
- Download the PDF and take at least two clear printouts on A4 paper, preferably in colour.
- Save a soft copy on your phone and email as a backup.
Details you must cross-check immediately
Read every field on the admit card the moment you download it. Small errors can cause big problems at the centre, so verify these against your application form and identity documents.
- Candidate's name spelt exactly as on your photo ID.
- Photograph and signature — both must be clear and correct.
- Father's and mother's name.
- Date of birth, gender and category details.
- Exam centre name and full address — note travel time and route.
- Reporting time, gate-closing time and exam timing.
- Roll number and application number.
- Important exam-day instructions printed on the card.
The correction window for NEET UG 2026 is CLOSED. If you spot a genuine discrepancy on the admit card — such as a wrong photo, mismatched name or incorrect category — do not panic and do not stay silent. Contact the NTA helpline immediately using the phone numbers and email printed on the admit card and on the official website, and keep a record of your communication. Carry supporting documents to the centre so the issue can be addressed by the centre superintendent.
What to print and carry on exam day
Reach your centre well before the reporting time on 21 June, as gates close strictly and late entry is not permitted. Carry the essentials and leave prohibited items at home to avoid being turned away.
- A printed copy of the NEET UG 2026 admit card (most centres require it on A4 paper).
- One recent passport-size photograph, to be pasted on the attendance sheet as instructed.
- A valid original photo ID — Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, passport or driving licence.
- A simple transparent water bottle and, if applicable, a PwBD certificate.
- Avoid mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, study material, and metallic or jewellery items, which are not allowed inside.
With the exam two days away, focus on logistics and rest rather than last-minute heavy revision. After the result is announced — expected around 15 July 2026 (tentative), with MCC counselling likely to begin from about 21 July — you can use MedAdmit's FREE NEET rank predictor to convert your expected score into an All India Rank estimate while you wait for the official scorecard. Admissions then proceed through 15 percent All India Quota via MCC and 85 percent state quota, across roughly 1.18 lakh MBBS seats in 780-plus medical colleges, besides dental, AYUSH, nursing and pharmacy seats. For now, double-check your admit card, plan your route to the centre, and walk in confident.
